Annual Stats ♫ 1,240+321 initial sign-ups for the Rec Edition ♫ 186 initial sign-ups for the Image Edition ♫ 984+205 (↓160) Secret Santas for the Rec Edition after confirmations ♫ 201+109 (---) Elf Gifts for the Rec Edition ♫ 163 (↑9) Secret Santas for the Image Edition after confirmations ♫ 1,134 (↓99) unique Secret Santas ♫ 227 (↓11) Secret Santas that participated in two events ♫ 25 (↓7) Secret Santas that participated in all three events ♫ 1,665 (↑162) Secret Santa & Elf gifts While participation looks down on first glance due to the test run of "Elf Gifts" this year, we had an increase of ~160 gifts compared to last year, which marks an increase in activity. Not a huge increase mind you, but still glad to see more users turn out this year. A lot of those seemed to be manga elf gifts, so I wonder if elf gifting was a success or not? Let us know what you think if you signed up for this instead of the exchange. Thank you to everyone for your patience as we tried to get all the gifts ready to go, to those who participated for the EIGHTH year in a row (there must be some!), and also to all of the new faces who joined this year! Without all of them, we would have gone stark-raving crazy trying to put this together. | Thank you to all the elves for putting together this fantastic event! I've been a 3x participant and I always enjoy it every year. It's my favorite MAL event to participate in. :) This time I was brave enough to enter 2 events which was fun! If I had change one thing... I think maybe putting the present opening dates and secret santa reveals later. It's probably a lot of work for elves to put together such a huge event, and I don't mind waiting a few extra days (for instance, presenting opening could be from 12/26-12/28 and the reveals could be around 1/2-1/4... or something) to give them more time if it'd help. Plus, it might ease the stress for elves, some, if not all, of whom might be celebrating the holidays and want some more time with their family and/or friends. But if elves are okay with the current timeframes for opening gifts and santa reveals than there isn't anything about the event that needs changing :) |

I'm very grateful for all the effort you put into my gift! Last Exile is very different from the usual animes I watched, so it was a nice experience.
