i think anime is just so sterile. it's impossible to find anything human in it, the Japanese are fucking eunuchs with their ecchi and their romance. why is Berserk a unique case? i guess an anime involves too many people to be good, although i don't think manga is much better. Shoujo Tsubaki was made by one guy, which is why it's brilliant, and of course it's banned. was censorship the main obstacle to creativity? i doubt it, given the amount of mature content to be found in popular anime, but i don't know enough about the industry to be able to say

i've been playing The Witcher 3 and it's boring so far, but i'm only a few hours in. i'm mostly waiting for MH6, Tekken 8 and that new Princess Peach game

what is it that you seek? friends? girlfriend? better social life in general? i don't know how it is in North America but here i see people my age thriving socially both online and irl even if the times aren't ideal

i have 0 friends myself, you're one of the people i've exchanged the most with in recent years, yet i don't feel the same way you do. i was talking to a woman on MAL but she stopped logging in, i was having fun typing in decent French to see if she would reciprocate but i guess i was too much of a sperg. if you want friends i think you'd be better off with irl friends who have small online presence, anyone who is deep into social media, political discourse, letterboxd, etc. is a retard who will only bring you down

i think this feeling of fading youth is natural and that you are mistaking it for something personal. what would be the right way to spend your youth? the only one that comes to mind that would be truly fulfilling would be to go all-in on studies, but few people have that chance
