I finally understand how fucking terrible that Umineko anime really is, I'm playing it right now on Steam (finished ep1 recently) and I can already see so much depth, which the anime completely butchered and turned everyone into a token no-name dead body. I usually always have some nitpicks with stories, but the first episode was nearly perfect in execution. Even though the general plot was present in the anime, it hardly even touched the themes and the meta meaning of everything and missed so much important information.. no wonder I thought it was bad. That adaptation really turned it into a hollow husk of a such an unusual and interesting story. The answer arc got released today, so I will definitely be getting my mind completely blown away straight after I finish the first one. XD
