Synopsis

During their decade-long quest to defeat the Demon King, the members of the hero's party—Himmel himself, the priest Heiter, the dwarf warrior Eisen, and the elven mage Frieren—forge bonds through adventures and battles, creating unforgettable precious memories for most of them.

However, the time that Frieren spends with her comrades is equivalent to merely a fraction of her life, which has lasted over a thousand years. When the party disbands after their victory, Frieren casually returns to her "usual" routine of collecting spells across the continent. Due to her different sense of time, she seemingly holds no strong feelings toward the experiences she went through.

As the years pass, Frieren gradually realizes how her days in the hero's party truly impacted her. Witnessing the deaths of two of her former companions, Frieren begins to regret having taken their presence for granted; she vows to better understand humans and create real personal connections. Although the story of that once memorable journey has long ended, a new tale is about to begin.

A masterpiece. Above a 10 if i could. Amazing magic system, bueatiful magic system, deep characters, I could go on.

from how it approaches loss and regret, to how it shows personal growth.

The animation is amazing, the fights are sick, Frieren is a badass, everything is just perfect.

Even the MC(s) are all amazing. Most anime falter when it comes to the MC(s), but Frieren doesn't. They all feel like their own people with their own wants and wishes and desires.

Especially with how long this show is, its remarkable how interesting it is. Few times does a show go beyond 12 episodes and keep me engaged. Frieren ...

Well-writtenWell-written
Frieren is an animated series with good graphics, a slow but beautiful and pleasing rhythm. It is set in a magical world with a medieval aesthetic where different species (elves, humans, demons, beasts, etc.) coexist with roles and personalities similar to those of a role-playing game (RPG).

The story begins with an original idea: the end of an epic journey that, much later, is what drives a new journey and evolution of a rather peculiar protagonist. This makes the whole story have numerous flashbacks that will introduce us to the different characters and the world around them.

However, the slow and empty rhythm, especially at the beginning, ...

FunnyFunny
This was the most boring monotone piece of fiction i have ever watched, no one can ever convince me that this is a good show.
The show starts out like Skyrim, sitting in a wagon for what feels like an eternity, only to be given the information that all that could be interesting in a show like this, has already happened.. After that you have to slave through 27 more episodes of ''I'm an old elf i don't care about time'' wich is literally the plot of the show. The main character has no emotion (some are saying its part of the show, but its just ...
