Maybe later in time, I can't be sure, anything is possible.

Hello, @Ankhseram9

Thank you for your recommendations. I appreciate you trying to find something interesting for me to watch, I understand it might have been difficult for you.

I finished watching "Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e" as it was the one that resonated with me the most and I enjoyed it, I liked the competition/tournament part of it and the underdog premise.

Heeeey Ankhseram!

How are you, what's up? Hopefully you didn't forget about our little conversation, though I wouldn't blame you, considering my absence... But hey, I passed all my exams with the highest mark, so I guess that would make an okay excuse hehehe :) Joking aside, I finally have some time on my hands really, this was the hardest semester yet, but not because of the harder studying material or anything, but simply for a fact that there was constant work on my back, every week. Anyways, sry about little rant, I'm just so glad I could talk to you again :)

How did your Uni enroll go? Are you still preparing or you already did it? I believe you will do great! Ganbare!

As for my Twitter, my username is TheBranima, you have it linked on my MAL profile as well :D

I checked out your Santa recommendations and they seem really cool, Oresuki synopsis left me really intrigued :D Hopefully you've seen some of it by now, so you could tell me about your experience :) My Santa got me these badass profile and about me pictures, I was really blown away with the tremendous work he put into making these :) As for the anime recs, I've got Made in Abyss, which I enjoyed to the fullest, I went out to see the movie as well, and I wasn't disappointed. The show seemed so serene on the outside at first, but harsh reality and all the messages that the show is bringing along the way, shrouded by captivating scenery, landscapes and soundtracks, if you haven't seen it, I sincerely recommend it!

Ohh, that episode was nothing short of fantastic! Build up, the conversation, ending, everything was to the point, probably the episode of the season! So now that the Marley arc is over, how did you like it generally? A friendly tip, take a breath or two while you can, as things aren't gonna stay still for much longer and we're yet to see some real action and stuff! :D

Speaking of the Inglorious Basterds, I'm yet to see that movie (I've seen only Pulp Fiction from Tarantino's movies), but I've seen a couple of Korean production movies these last few days, precisely, Oldboy, Train to Busan, and Memories of Murder, and they were all so good and much different from your standard Hollywood stuff :D If you have time and you're into movies, try checking some of those :)

Hope to hear from you soon,
Branima ;)

Thanks for the message! I know, I need to catch up on the show because I've heard great things about it. Sadly I haven't had much time recently but once things settle down I'll definitely watch it through.

No worries, my situation isn't any better to be honest, quite a lot of uni work, a check in here just once, before the sleep.

That is great to hear, I'm really glad :D Well, situation here isn't the best, we surely knew better, but I'm doing my best to keep myself and my close ones safe and healthy :)

Thank you for kind words :) I don't see myself as a critic and my points are far from the critics that I've seen on Twitter (in both good and bad ways), but I feel like my ability of expressing myself via written means has grown significantly over time, because of this wonderful media and because of some interesting interactions and conversations I've had on Twitter. Reading your message until the end, I got a feeling you have the same gift and I felt a high level of thought and perspective in what you've written as a response on my point of view on Oregairu Kan :) Hence, I recommend checking on Twitter, you might find or rather, you will surely find someone you could talk about your favourite shows :)

Back on Oregairu. Well, I certainly see your point on Haruno and I would agree that she is just an enigma open for interpretation :) As for Yukino's mom, that was a step too far for my liking. People who dislike Oregairu are often pointing out how the main reason for their distaste with the series is because it is very melodramatic and a step too surreal. While I was fighting that school of though through the first two seasons, as I felt like everything fits in and is in the bounds of the real teenage experience (some things I've experienced myself too), third season took that power away from me. A particular scene, where the prom organizing squad was having a celebration after the successful prom, when Yukinoshita's mom came at the doors, and all the people started talking, even though it was to be just a regular parent child conversation, I really struggled to grasp it... To be honest, every conversation between Yukino and her mom at the school, with the highest degree of formality felt really artificial with me. That is probably my biggest issue with this season. But once again, beatuful moments made me forget about those minor issues, as they were rather fantastic and sweet :)

Note on the Secret Santa, I've signed up, hope you did it too :) I was quite busy for quite some time now, but I got a little break from uni tasks, so decided I'll take some time to reach some people I haven't talked with for a long time, including my last year image santa recipient, wonder how she's doing and how her year went on, with all the covid problems all around the world, not everyone coped with it the same way :)

About Monogatari. My initial thoughts on Bake weren't the greatest (I've seen it in February this year, I think), as many dialogues felt unnecessary and dull to me at the time and the plot was really slow and not overall impressive :) I've even made a statement at some point, saying how Bunny Girl Senpai was better, because it was just a Bake in motion, with something actually happening :) And I still stand behind the part that Bunny Girl is good and very interesting. BUT! I've continued the Mono franchise two weeks ago I thing, because I've got back into the dorm, so I've built a routine with friends, where we would watch couple of eps each night, after the day full of uni stuff, just to relax and have some fun :) And I must say, Nise was quite nice, NekoKuro as well and I'm currently 3 arcs into the Second Season and I like it the most by far, especially the Tsubasa Tiger arc, I related to Hanekawa soooo much, it's crazy :) I'm hoping that it would finish on a high note, as I grew in love with the series more and more :) Also, because every arc is somehow connected to the Bakemonogatari, I slowly feel the guilt creeping me and I believe rewatching Bake after completing the series would change my perspectiive on it by quite some margin :) How do you like it so far?

Whooh, I think I covered everything, you'll have some reading to do :)
Best wishes,
Branima :3

Heyoo, haven't heard from you for a while!

How are you, what's up? :) Hope you're doing well and healthy, considering that the world isn't as happy place as it used to be just a year ago.

I'm really glad you liked the whole franchise and it is, by a fact, a marvelous show :) So, about the final season. It started really, really well and I was hopeful that Haruno's character would finally be justified, in a way that I always considered her to be the nuisance and out of the context character. But, she never really moved from that spot to be honest, and was more of a dictionary and problem catalyst than a character with some higher plot purpose. To add salt to the wound, Yukinoshita's mom was extremely unnecessary and only brought confusion and stalemate. The execution of the prom fell short, as their role as organizers, instead of graduates, was somewhat boring, and it only helped to place the characters in the same room or the same space of time within a vicinity, so they could actually walk home together and spark a conversation. Now that I look at it, it seems I have a lot against this season. But actually, that isn't the case. While all these things were kinda a thorn in the eye, the show still managed to pull something wholesome in each episode. Yui's suffering and demise felt really real and painful and the ending of her journey felt really emotional (her last seating on a bench with Hachiman, with a beautiful light and warm palette of colors). Last three episodes, well, I think there isn't much to say, as I was left completely speechless and drowned in emotions. So, even with some direction mistakes and small plot irrelevance issues, when the final episode aired, the whole story flashed through my mind and the feeling that there won't be any new episode to come and that one big, emotional, beautiful book has just closed forever was quite impactful. Honestly, I wonder how it will look like at the time I decide to run through it again, in years to come...

So yeah, I still consider it a very good season (therefore I gave it an 8/10) :)

I was just thinking about last year's Secret Santa event and honestly cannot wait to apply once again :) Think I have to offer much more this time around and that I could make someone genuinely happy once again :) It is a great event that is actually a very good representative of how the act of giving is such a beautiful thing :)

I totally get you there, Oregairu has done marvelous job in exploiting power of the dialog :) Friends which recommended me Oregairu also recommended me Monogatari franchise, but after just 3 episodes of Bakemonogatari, it didn't seem to me that it is my cup of tea, although I plan on finishing it in next few days, just to complete my opinion on it. Never heard of Girls' Last Tour, I'll give it a look!

Yo, what's up?

I saw you completed everything there is from Oregairu franchise, so I'm interested in how you liked it overall, as second season is a lot different than first.

Looking forward to hear from you!

yeah, I 5toubun and Oregairu are probably my two most favorite series.

The final season of Oregairu's gonna air in Spring, you should definitely watch that too!
