I couldn't imagine myself watching anime few years ago, not to mention wasting entire days. But here I am with more than 200 entries on my list.
I'm not really into mecha, but so it turns out that two of my favorites are mecha.
Used to love romance, not sure about that anymore, but any good anime needs some drama for sure.
Lately isekai, action and game genres are on top of my list. Have been rewatching quite a few of those.

I haven't seen the manga, so I don't know how good it is, but the light novel is great, though as other LNs, rather time consuming.
I started with, and thoroughly enjoyed, One Punch Man, which is not a manga-only, but still has story progressing past what anime has shown. There isn't any manga series that I have enjoyed that does not have an anime.
Never watched any Chinese anime in my life actually 🤔 Is it different much from the Japanese ones?
Noticed you are a fan of Mushoku Tensei. I started reading it a couple days ago, and it's written really well. Have you considered reading it as well, or will you be sticking to anime only?
How were the recommendations you got?
