Maou-sama, Retry!

Akira Oono is an ordinary working adult who manages the MMORPG Infinity Game. Fifteen years after creating the game, Oono decides to shut the servers down once and for all. However, as the clock strikes midnight, he somehow finds himself in the body of middle-aged Hakuto Kunai, Infinity Game's Demon Lord!

Soon after his mysterious transportation, he witnesses the demon Greole chasing after a little girl named Aku. Although he effortlessly dispatches the creature, Hakuto is still concerned; after all, he does not remember creating the girl or the demon! Doubting whether he truly is in the world of his creation, Hakuto decides to investigate. Bringing Aku along as his guide and companion, Hakuto sets out on a journey to find out exactly who or what summoned him to this fantasy world—all while leaving chaos and destruction in his wake.

isekais enjoyer here i watch pretty much any anime series from great to trash and this is in the middle i have an open mind watch anything really.. it had my attention mostly the whole time cute and funny plus action mixed in obviously some world building the protag is funny and not really your run of the mill protag in isekais not a simp and badass , the other characters are great too a couple of them are pretty hilarious but i wont spoil it if you like dirty jokes.. not going to rate the story and other things but would say is ... if i rated this on enjoyment it would be a 7 but i an not picky and just happy to watch something that keeps me somewhat entertained that being said this first season is a good watch imo i recommend it...
but please for the love of god dont watch the sequel it changed the art style even the characters are so different down to the weapons and clothing EVEN turning a loli that was flat as a broad in to an oppai having heroine that does not fly for me there was no timeskip from season 1 to 2 to justify that drastic of a change .... so yeah i don't like to complain but if you are going on with making a sequel please keep things consistent it broke my immersion im guessing they had a different studio make the 2nd season but still it was like a was watching a different anime entirely. i am not a nit picker and can get over most things with inconstancies i genuinely am happy with the effort most studios do to make our lives more enjoyable that being said if they had the same art style and character changes from the get go starting in season 1 that they made in season 2 i would not really have a problem with it.. i recommend watching season one if you decide to watch season 2 you might get disappointed... cheers

Mixed Feelings

This isekai isn't bad- it's just stale and kinda boring.

There really isn't a plot. It's more we see the MC and his friends do stuff...like eating, walking, and meeting new people. And building stuff. There's no large overhead telling us where this story may go. Just people doing normal every day things, which I guess some people will like and some won't, which is why I put mixed feelings.

The reason I don't rate it lower is because it hits all the isekai cliche spot on, and I enjoy that kind of stuff. The show actually has some funny moments that made me laugh.

Best part of ... the show is definitely the MC though. He has this rough voice, which I love because it's different from your typical isekai with a teenager's voice. He also has this stone cold fascade with wisdom. He actually talks like an adult, so that's refereshing. MC is OP- kind of? There are confusing moments when I don't understand why he's struggling and the show never explains it either. The side characters are forgettable as they are all cardboard cut outs of your basic types. Tsundere, innoncent, over the type, etc. The best is probably the doctor. She a hottie and is crazy, which is totally my type, ha!

To sum up, it's very average and could've been better. If you want a story with an amazing plot and devious schemes, skip this one. If you like watching people do every day simple things, you might like it.

Feels like the product of a studio that didn't put in much effort.

For action, it's mostly slideshow style in that there's an enemy, an attack, and then the after effects rather than actually animating combat and making things look good.

For the plot, I'm guessing off of the anime that the source material focuses on how the world is and how it's being changed. The anime seems to speed through this though so it's not very good either.

For comedy and characters, not enough animation is put into facial expressions or body movements for these to look that good either. The voice actors always do a good ... job though.

Bottom 10 of all anime I've finished. I imagine it could've been great but the people who made it didn't let it shine.

There are some good moments, but those are what clips are for when the anime overall doesn't match the quality of the clip.
