AITA for calling my wife’s daughter a chungus?
Ok, so a little backstory: My (26 M) wife’s (41 F) daughter (13 F) is, shall we say, a bit of a hеckin’ сhonker, and she is very insecure about her plus-sized frame. She is regularly bullied in school and constantly faces fatphobia when in public, and this really bothers her. In addition to being bullied for her size, she is also mocked for being a fan of the Minecraft YouTuber “Dream” (21 M). I’m going to refer to her as “E” for the rest of this post.

So yesterday I came home from my IT job and greeted my wife, but she told me she was busy doing another photoshoot for her OnlyFans. Since I couldn’t have a conversation with her, I decided to go to my bedroom (we sleep in separate rooms now) to browse r/dankmemes and r/sissyhypno while enjoying a few bottles of Soylent. But when I got there, I noticed E was already at the computer (CyberPowerPC - Intel Core i7-10700F - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 - 1TB HDD + 500GB SSD) doing her schoolwork. I reminded her that I had an extra ten hours of computer time this week (my wife really appreciated me letting Tyrone sleep in her room from now on), and gently asked her to let me use the PC. After some persuasion, she agreed to let me use the computer.

I was in my room updooting wholesome 100 memes for about half an hour when I noticed my Soylent stash had ran dry, so I called out into the hall for E to bring me a refill. She entered the room with two Soylent bottles (vanilla love and silky chocolate) and set them on my GTRACING gaming desk. I thanked her and said “Love you, my little сhungus!”, but this upset her. I forgot she was a normie (REEEE) and was not intellectual enough to understand dank memes, so she thought I was calling her a fatphobic slur. She ran into her room, slamming the door behind her, and started watching Dream SMP at full volume while sobbing. E hasn’t talked to me since yesterday, my wife took my computer, and Tyrone took my house key. I honestly wasn’t trying to offend her, and I feel really bad about this (unwholesome 100). Kind strangers of MAL, AITA?
