In her world, everyone seems to be a supernatural creature, and all her classmates have some kind of horns, wings, tails, halos, or other visible supernatural body part. Despite their supernatural elements, Himeno and her best friends, Nozomi and Kyoko, have a fun and mostly normal daily school life! Before I read the manga I wouldn't think it's possible to make a feel good slice of life story about the effects of casual racism on society, but they did it. The way this world works has a lot more thought put into it than Monster Musume. Have to agree with Gegenschein. It's actually a really good manga. BTW there are also some side characters that are in a same sex relationship that are treated .. well like a normal relationship!! If the staff are good and they have the time this could be a really good show. |
