The wraparound jacket found on the 14th volume of manga Centaur no Nayami (A Centaur's Life), which released on December 13, 2016, revealed that the series will receive an anime adaptation.

Synopsis
Himeno is a sweet, shy little centaur girl. In her world, everyone seems to be a supernatural creature, and all her classmates have some kind of horns, wings, tails, halos, or other visible supernatural body part. Despite their supernatural elements, Himeno and her best friends, Nozomi and Kyoko, have a fun and mostly normal daily school life! (Source: MangaHelpers)

The manga is drawn by Kei Murayama and began its serialization in Comic Ryu in December 2010. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga North American release and the tenth volume went on sale in November.

So it's like Monster Musume but a Slice Of Life instead of Ecchi / Harem?
Hmm I think I'll try the first episode (whenever this will air), but it doesn't sound too interesting..

I have no words for this Lmao. This looks so fucking weird, even the horse combined with the big tits is pretty fucking weird, and the setting and the synopsis seems so unsettling for me. I might check it out but Japan brings some of the weirdest shit here.

There is literally no way this won't be lowest common denominator pandering trash...but I'm not exactly against it either.
We all need a dumb and weird ecchi show to cool down to and stroke one out every now and then. Can't be super edgy and deep all the time.

There's not much fan service from this but more of slice of life content. Kinda curious to see how much they adapt it though as it gets weird in some of the later chapters.

For some people, the mere existence of this manga - fan service.

Like i told a few of my friends in my community once monster musume gotten the anime treatment,,others will follow. we have quite a few monster girl series coming up already and this one is another, altough this is probably the tamest one out there, not much fan service just slice of life with a twist is all.

Yeah, you would think the game that started the monster girl craze would get an anime adaptation but still have not. there is still time tough so you would never know.

This is probably not the kinda show you expect. Before I read the manga I wouldn't think it's possible to make a feel good slice of life story about the effects of casual racism on society, but they did it. The way this world works has a lot more thought put into it than Monster Musume.

Lol the 2nd spoiler is pure comedy.

I'm guessing this will be a short, maybe up to 7 mins, adopting various situations those monster girls go through.

Every new anime announcement is so full of negativity, I wonder how many of you even watch anime or are just here to bash it.

Have to agree with Gegenschein. It's actually a really good manga. BTW there are also some side characters that are in a same sex relationship that are treated .. well like a normal relationship!!

If the staff are good and they have the time this could be a really good show.

I can understand the kneejerk reaction from most people here but they couldn't be more wrong about this particular manga.

I hope they do a good job with the Adaptation.

Nice, love this series. One chapter you've got slice of life with some monster girls, the next you have an exploration of the various socio-political issues that come from such a world.

well from the cover (dem tits) and the synopsis, its pretty normal that at first you'd think that its going to be pretty bad when you dont know whats its really about.

Oh wow, totally didn't expect this.
Centaur no Nayami is one of the best manga in terms of worldbuilding. Hopefully the anime adaptation can do it justice.

The heck? Centaur? This is taking bestiality of horses to the next level lol.

If it was a harpy like Papi, then I would've been interested.
