INTRODUCTION
　Welcome to the Anime Watching Challenges Club Open House time limited event.

　This event was originally released as part of the MAL Bunkasai ~Our School Festival~. To see how it went, check the thread here.
EXPLANATION
    　
  • HOW-TO: You are allowed to complete each part once, but you can also do just one of them. (you can only turn in once)
    　— PART 1 : Just do as instructed ; all items must be completed.
    　— PART 2 : You must have done (at least) the first two items while at Bunkasai, otherwise skip it ; all items must be completed.
    　— PART 3 : The watching part, you can use any anime watched since the challenge was released at Bunkasai.


  • Hunting Difficulties:
    Easy: 4 items
    Medium: 8 items
    Hard: 12 items
    Conquered: 16 items
    　— There are extra requirements, you only need to do those required by your difficulty.
    　— No second run (x2) available.

  • Previously completed series aren't allowed. Neither is re-watching.
    　— Series previously started, but not finished, may be used.
    　— Airing can be used, but you must complete the series, so you can only turn-in the challenge after the series has finished airing.

  • Any type is allowed, but must be equal to or longer than 15 minutes (total).
    　— Unless otherwise stated.

  • Start date is the same for everyone, so if you join late but have completed anime during this period, you can use it.
    　— Remember that it's required to add the start and end dates to any anime you use for our challenges.

  • You cannot use the same entry more than once.
    　— Applies across the different parts.

Anime Watching Challenges Club Open House

PART 1 : INTRO

    Getting Started

  1. [X] Joining the Club
    　— How To: Visit the main page of this club here. On the right side, below the club's picture, press "Join Club". It will take you to a new page to confirm you want to join, press the "Join Club" button. It will redirect you to the club's main page. (Alternatively, just click here) To leave, do the same. It will appear as "Leave Club".

  2. [X] Making a post on this thread
    　— You have two ways to post in this thread: (1) On top of the first post, the first button should be the "Post New Reply". It will take you to a new page in which you can edit your post content. Once done, press the "Submit" button below the text box. It will redirect you to your post. (2) Scroll to the bottom of this thread. On the far left, press the "Quick Reply" button. It will open a text box for your post content. Once done, press "Reply" and that's it. (If you don't know what to write, type "save", "saved", "for later", and so on.)

  3. [X] Editing your post
    　— After making your post with the instructions above, refresh the page (fastest way is pressing the F5 key on your keyboard). Scroll the page until you see your post. Once it's time to add more and/or edit the content of your post, you have two ways to do it, similar to how it was when posting the first time. (1) On the bottom right of your post, you can press "Edit". It will take you to a new page in which you can edit your post. This way usually helps when you will take long editing. If by any chance you close your tab or your browser crashes and closes, when reopened you will usually have a cached version of what was in there. (2) You can also press "Quick Edit", it will open a text box version of your post for when editing something that won't take long. Contrary to the other way, if you closed the tab or something while editing like this, you will lose all changes made.

  4. [X] Grab the Sign Up Code on the next post
    　— Scroll to the next post (here) and copy the code inside the first spoiler. Then paste it on your post and save it.

  5. [X] Read about BBCoding on MAL
    　— You can learn the BBCode used by pressing the "How to use BBCode?" or "BBCode Help" link at the bottom of your post (while editing). Alternatively, I suggest you visit this helpful thread at Shishio's Club.

  6. [X] Getting the link to your challenge post [[url=POST_LINK]POST[/url]]
    　— Once on your post, click on your post number. It's on the right side of the blue bar that's on top of your post (with the date). Clicking there, will give you your post direct link. Copy it from the address bar and paste on the "LINK" field for this item. Alternatively, you can right click the number and press "Copy link address".

  7. [X] Change the color of the red X for the items completed
    　— While editing your post, change the word "red" from "color=red" (it's after the asterisk on each item). You can use any normal color you like (not too light, not too dark). For example: green, orange, teal, #9933ff, etc. Examples on this site or here.

  8. [X] Write something short using BBcode here [YOUR TEXT HERE]
    　— You can use bold, italics, colors, and/or any other valid code. No, you don't have to use them all, please. If you don't know what to write, try styling your username.

  9. [X] Link your favorite anime : SERIES
    　— Visit the MAL page for any of your favorite series, or one you liked the most recently. On your browser address bar, you will see the ID number of that entry. For example, the ID of "Hoozuki no Reitetsu" is 20431. On the item line above, replace the "00000" with the ID of your favorite anime. Then copy the name as it appears there and replace "SERIES" with it. Now you have linked us with your favorite.


    Style your MAL Appearance
    　If you already have this section completed, you don't have to change them.

  10. [X] Set your forum set
    　— The Forum Set refers to the avatar and signature you will see when posting on a forum thread. The avatar (left of your post, below the date) must be an image on your device, while for the signature (below your post and before the next one) you can use any text/image that follows the guidelines. Visit this page and click the "Choose File" button, under "Upload an Avatar" for the avatar. Below that, under "Signature", you can add what you want to appear there.

  11. [X] Set a profile picture
    　— It must be an image on your device. Visit this page and click the "Choose File" button, under "Upload a Picture". After selected, press submit and wait for it to appear.

  12. [X] Have something on your About Me
    　— Visit this page and scroll until the "My Details" section. There you can set the style to modern or classic. The Modern style while have special layouts, so check them out. With the Classic style, you can edit more and prepare it as you please with BBCode.

  13. [X] Have an anime list Style Design other than the default theme [My Anime List]
    　— Link your list, replace "AWCC" with your username. To change your list design, visit this page to select and use a Modern or Classic List Design. If you would like to use a more detailed style, check these threads for a variety of premade list layouts for a modern list design or a classic list design.

PART 2 : SOCIAL
— Only available during Bunkasai

    Bunkasai Post: [url=POST_LINK]POST[/url]


    Image Collecting/Sharing

  1. [X] Obtain at least 3 different event tickets at MAL Bunkasai [[url=POST_LINK]ticket1[/url] — [url=POST_LINK]ticket2[/url] — [url=POST_LINK]ticket3[/url]]
    　— MAL Bunkasai will host several events. Participate in at least 3 different ones (not counting this event) and link the post in which you received your tickets here. If they were from discord events, link the image.

  2. [X] Obtain one graphic at MAL Bunkasai [[url=LINK]image[/url]]
    　— There will be different events that will offer you different graphics (badges, cards, signatures, etc). Check them out and link here at least one you receive (not counting this event).


    Anime with Others

  3. [X] Watch another participant's favorite anime : SERIES [[url=POST_LINK]USER[/url]]
    　— From the people that have posted on the Bunkasai thread, check their post and look for the item that asked about your favorite anime. Use something that you haven't seen before. State here the anime used, their username and link their post. Link the series as we did before. Replace "LINK" with their post link and "USER" with their name. Taking a screenshot is suggested in case the member you use decided to change their series after you completed it.

  4. [X] Join a simulwatching and/or watch the anime during this event : SERIES
    　— There will be different simulwatching parties hosted. Join one of them while it occurs and/or watch the series they hosted during this event. If you have already watched all the series being simulwatched, watch a related one (part of the franchise; like a sequel, side story, alternative setting, and so on) and state the main series used.

    　— Valid Series: Ghibli movies, Cardfight!! Vanguard: overDress, Overlord and Fall 2022 PVs. To use the Fall 2022 PVs options, you must watch a prequel or related anime to one that will start airing during said season (not one that started a previous season and carried over).

PART 3 : HUNTING

    　The following 3 items refer to the Type. You can find it on a series page, on the left side, below the anime picture. Under the "Information" section.
  1. [X] Watch a TV or ONA Series
  2. [X] Watch a Movie
  3. [X] Watch an OVA or Special

    　For the following 3 items, it only needs to have started during those years. Its end date can be any other.
  4. [X] Watch an anime that started airing in 1990 or before
  5. [X] Watch an anime that started airing between 1991 and 1999
  6. [X] Watch an anime that started airing between 2000 and 2009

  7. [X] Watch an anime with 10 episodes or less
    On a single entry.
  8. [X] Watch an anime with 20 episodes or more
    On a single entry.
  9. [X] Watch an anime with episodes that are 15 minutes or less each
    Must have more than one episode.

    　The following 4 items refer to the Source. You can find it on a series page, on the left side, below the anime picture. Under the "Information" section.
  10. [X] Watch an Original anime
  11. [X] Watch an anime adapted from a Manga
    Does not include 4-koma Manga or Web Manga.
  12. [X] Watch an anime adapted from a Novel/Book/Light Novel
    Does not include Visual Novel or Picture Book.
  13. [X] Watch an anime adapted from a Game or Visual Novel
    Does not include Card Game.

    　The following 3 items refer to the total members amount (Listed as just "Members"). You can find it on a series page, on the very top. Besides the score, rank and popularity. Taking a screenshot of the number is suggested, since they will change.
  14. [X] Watch an anime with less than 50,000 members
  15. [X] Watch an anime that has between 50,000 - 100,000 members
  16. [X] Watch an anime with more than 100,000 members

    　The following 3 items refer to the Rating. You can find it on a series page, on the left side, below the anime picture. Under the "Information" section.
  17. [X] Watch an anime rated G or PG
    Rating is "G - All Ages" or "PG - Children".
  18. [X] Watch an anime rated PG-13
    Rating is "PG-13 - Teens 13 or older".
  19. [X] Watch an anime rated R or R+
    Rating is "R - 17+ (violence & profanity)" or "R+ - Mild Nudity".

  20. [X] Watch an anime with a non-Japanese main title
    The title that appears when you open a series page. It can be any other real language, besides the romanized Japanese.
  21. [X] Watch an anime that starts with the same first letter of your username
    For example: in my case (SheyCroix), I could watch something like "Shadows House", "Shoot! Goal to the Future" or "Sekai no Owari ni Shiba Inu to".

    　The following 2 items refer to the characters that appear listed as "Main".
  22. [X] Watch an anime where all of the main characters are male
  23. [X] Watch an anime where all of the main characters are female

  24. [X] Watch an anime with one of your favorite people in the cast
    Favorite people refers to a voice actor/actress, director, musician, band and so on. They must appear listed on your profile (under "People", in the Favorites section). State the person used and their role. If using a VA, the character can be main or supporting.
