How to Play the Manga Reading Challenge!

This year's challenge will be lotería-themed.
  • Lotería is a lottery game of chance, where players are given a card of random numbers and pictures and try to complete lines to win money.
  • Here you will choose a number of 4x4 cards with 16 items.
  • To finish the challenge, you need to complete the amount of cards required for your chosen difficulty.

Signing Up
  1. Go to the Sign Up Code post, copy the provided code in its entirety, and paste it as a new reply to this thread.

  2. Obtain your lotería card(s) by first clicking here. To get a new card, click the button with three lines in the bottom right of the page and click "New". Copy and paste the url(s) of your card(s) into your sign-up code.

  3. Edit your post to replace the capitalized text with your information.

  4. The following fields should be filled in now: Link to your list and Completed Manga.

  5. Choose a difficulty based on the number of cards you want to complete (and the number of manga you want to read)

    DATE is when you started/finished each manga.
    ID_NUM is found in the manga entry's URL. MANGA_TITLE is the main title of the entry.

  2. Continue completing challenge items until you have enough for your given difficulty. Remember, each manga can only be used once.

  3. A card consists of sixteen squares each with its own picture. Each picture represents three items. Pick one of the three items to complete for each square. If you have two or more cards that share some of the same pictures, then you may use the same item for each time that picture occurs in a square on a card or you may use one of its other items for each time it appears.


  4. The items do not need to be completed in any specific order, but it is easier to plan ahead of time what you're going to read. You can work on multiple cards at the same time.

  5. If you use a title other than the main title, please add it between parenthesis after the main title.

  1. Once all your items are completed, verify that all information in your sign-up form is filled in.
