I think it really depends on where. Even within the same city some areas flood more than others. The area where I live doesn't flood but the city and some nearby towns floods very easily.

I don't know that movie. Isn't there already a movie with that title? I don't really watch movies so I'm not familiar with most movies or actors actually.

(*^u^*)Exams were pretty nerve-racking, mainly because basically the fail mark is based on how well everyone else does- and everyone else is so smart QwQ! People really do the most, but my results come out this week so hopefully I can be free of the mental torture soon.

And thanks for the amazing suggestion cus I really forgot thats a thing, the challenges on mal. I don't think I've ever properly done one, only dabbled, so I will definitly check that out! And I presume from that you prefer watching completed shows, you also have a really intresting assortment of shows on your favourites, do you have a favourite genre?

Yes, it is good, I don't know the reason why I like it so much, it has something that draws me close. But it's receiving quite a lot of hate which I don't understand much.

Well, even though there is a death (it's not even shown), it's one of the factors that makes this drama live. There is another death though, but even with that one (you will cry a little maybe), it's still "classified" as a comfort-healing drama. (I love it also because the main leads are both introverts and their love is unique since there is no need for a confession) It's the same with my No.1 favorite Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha - the main core is the same, people who start finding themselves after leaving their lifestyles in a complicated city and moving to an unfamiliar place to do nothing/start a new chapter in life. There is a death too and it left me in tears for some time but once again it's classified as a comfort-healing drama. And it did just that, it helped me a lot when I had some hard times in life. (I hope it doesn't sound offensive, I'm only trying to explain 🤧) And the main reason I love it

The thing with the tags can be confusing since they give a death tag even if it has nothing to do with the main story (so it's mostly irrelevant - I mean the complete randoms that somehow die for example, not a family member or a friend of the main lead)🤷‍♂️

I haven't seen many dramas that this year offers, so I will need to do a little search 😅 But I know about The Midnight Studio and My Sweet Mobster (from what I've seen/read it's good so far).

I really enjoyed Yubisaki to Renren, and now I'm watching Koori Zokusei Danshi to Cool na Douryou Joshi - I like it so far ^^

I also have many unfinished/planned anime, I need to do something about it 😅

I had it like that with Doona! I binge watched it in one day in january (my first binge watch ahah, I love it so much), and then I was out for about 2 months while listening to the ost 😭 And I'm still partially suffering from it, since I can't even finish anything. Yeah I need to watch more dramas, my numbers for this year are also low.

I don't think I've seen any 2024 dramas yet 🙈 but from what I've seen this year I'm deciding between these two:
• Winter Sonata (I saw the anime version in December 2020 and when I was doomscrolling through Instagram I saw a reel that said "It's time again" while there was a cottage covered in snow and the main theme was playing in the background - that was my sign to watch the original 😌💖, I need to watch more of older dramas, I love the old aesthetics or something, idk maybe the nostalgic feelings 🤭),
• Doona! (explained in the first paragraph)

Light and fluffy? Hmm, what about Summer Strike? I think it's pretty light, so it's just right to watch if you want to ease your life and rest a little. I don't remember if it's fluffy but I know there is one fluffy Westie 🥺
It has only 12 episodes as well ^^

Really? I would think islands receive more damage from hurricanes. I can see tourism being open again but I don't see the Caribbean being fully recovered in less than a week. Maybe the less impacted islands are already recovered but based on the photos I seen on the news some areas were completely destroyed which takes time to rebuild. I don't think the hurricanes are more devastating in the U.S but maybe it takes longer to recover especially if it's not a tourist spot.

that's fun! sometimes, i read a bunch of mangas and out of surprise i would find that its anime adaptation is releasing the next day. usually it happens with isekais.

i think i get what you mean. being surprised can go south real quick. i guess i would say that one way to reel me into watching something would be showing an interesting clip so i get curious. and arcane is cool! i love the art style.. each scene could be a wallpaper.

as of right now, i don't have any summer plans. currently rotting at home. i should probably get a hobby. other than watching/reading stuff, do you have any other interests?

I imagine the Caribbeans would be trying to recover for awhile after getting hit by such a major hurricane. I wouldn't really say hurricanes are terrifying but they can cause a great deal of damage. What makes hurricanes a bit less terrifying is that it's predictable.
