I've been into chinese webnovels for quite some time. Cdramas are often adapted from webnovels so they can kind of be thought of as visual webnovels.
The first one that I really enjoyed was Guardians of Dafeng. I'd read the webnovel and although I think the webnovel is the definitive way to experience that story, the adaptation was surprisingly pretty good.

Tbh I haven't seen a lot since I recently got into them but others that I've seen and liked were, The Rational Life, Qingchuan's Veil of Vengeance and My Fated Boy.

Recently watched Fated Hearts. It was a decent one.
I've got an MDL that I update regularly. You can take a look at that to know how bad my taste is :)
