| This show is fantastic. I loved the original series, but this is even better. Everything looks so much better, and there is a lot less filler. Can't wait for the next ep. |

| Didn't remember that the 3 guys weren't crippled in the other. For something a lot of people seem to claim is "darker" they really went in the opposite direction there in the first anime. |

| The three guys being actually crippled makes a lot more sense, and is much more effective here. The Nen training was certainly required for Gon and Killua, lest they become like those three. Hisoka really did them a favor. |

| love how gon expects to loose, just wanting to get experience and see what these new opponents are made of and try and get to grips with this new ability, love that! Also this beyblade dude looks interesting when i first saw the three guys i wanted this guy to fight first and i got my wish xD when this arc started i was a little put off, fighting tournaments just arent my thing usually but they have done a really good job with this, and made it so interesting loving hunter x hunter gutted i left it this long to pick it up ;( |

I wouldn't even call this a fight because one side is barely even able to do a thing against the other. A fight is an exchange that has changing dynamics of who has the upper hand and such an exchange simply will not happen until episode 31 and even then, I wouldn't consider that an exciting fight (as least not for me). |
| Awesome episode. Gon and Killua are finally starting to learn the fundamentals of nen. They got passed Hisoka and now in the 200's floors. The real fights are about to begin. | Even if Gon ends up winning, he should have listened to Wing advice. He knows what he's talking about after all. Ahhh, the young ones... Gido sure have a weird fighting style. And from the Killua/Gon little presentation, he can also spin on himself... I wonder how Gon can do him any kind of damage. I bet that he'll lose. |

Gon and Killua together are the most bland pair I've ever seen in anime. So much for my hope for this series. I'll consider Yu Yu Hakusho Togashi's masterpiece, not this. |

I was so invested for the Hunter exam; I watched 20 episodes in two days. It was so much fun and creative. I loved seeing the unique scenarios and how each character would go about doing them. It wasn't about fighting, and it wasn't about power. It was about observation and creativity, ingenuity, etc. Now Kurapika and Leorio are gone (for now) and it's just Gon and Killua; they get along too well, there's no dynamic or any drama between them. That's dull. And worst of all, now the show is ENTIRELY about 1. Power, and 2. Training. There's more training in this show now than in friggin' Dragonball (seriously). What happened? The original heart of the show is gone, and couldn't be more disinterested and more disappointed. In fact, the whole concept of this Nen aura stuff completely cheapens the whole idea the first part set up about Hunters. Fighting animes don't bore me, but it just does not work for this series and these characters to me. So disappointed that it fell off the cliff, hard, apparently never to return. |

Sorry if my reply seemed rude by the way. Totally wasn't tipsy The idea of nen is only really interesting later, when you see what the mangaka was able to do with it; it ends up being very creative IMO. During this section I, personally, was anticipating Gon's fight with a certain someone who was introduced. It's kinda a shame that you won't continue with the series since the later arcs are truly amazing IMO. And whilst I understand that people saying "it'll get better" means that the anime has ultimately failed, it's genuinely applicable to this series. Although, admittedly, it is a lot to ask for someone to watch around 30 episodes of an arc they are uninvested in to get to other arcs which follow. | Gon and Killua had successfully managed to learn how to use Ten in just around 2 and a half hours to get through Hisoka's barrier but as it turns out, they had only gotten past the bare minimum requirements to get through the Class 200 in one piece. |
