So in the end, Kimi no na wa managed to sell ~850k as reported by oricon. I wonder if they met their expectations to sell 1.2 million copies overall, since not everything is reported by oricon.

Japan has a one track mind. And with all these sales of YoI you'd think that sequel, or maybe that movie would have a trace but NOPE.

Wouldn't have noticed unless you mentioned it.

I heard the ring at the end was annulled as anything but an engagement ring because Japan doesn't allow gay marriage. Good old fujos. If only they would put their energy to actual rights than on fictional characters, Japan would produce more stuff for them but they are too rotten to realize that.

Gacha/Lootboxes is a shit in game industry but it generate lots of money which is why it won't stop unless it's regulated.
