Cygames Announces 'Necronomico no Cosmic Horror Show' Original TV Anime for 2025

Cygames opened an official website for an original television anime titled Necronomico no Cosmic Horror Show (Necronomico and the Cosmic Horrow Show) on Thursday. The website also revealed the main cast and staff, teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.

Synopsis
We all need a chance to change our lives!

The story follows Miko Kurono, who began her dream career as a livestreamer under the name "Necronomico" after graduating middle school. Amidst spending her days with childhood friend Mayu Mayusaka and rival Kanna Kagurazaka, she's introduced to a new VR game project!?

I have nothing against this show, but why do more and more original shows seem like adaptations of the usual CGDCT or Battle Shonen manga? Aren't original anime meant to create shows that are outside the formula of standard genres and demographics?

@deg another point to add is the amount of animation producers they have.

So lets say cygamespictures has 3 animes in the works, if the have 3 different animation producers on those anime, it should be fine.

they are also doing another umamusume season so ye they are too overloaded for 2025 for a small studio so they need to like outsource to other studios for sure

@deg ahhh but theres a difference.

cygames here are just a producer, the studio doing this one is studio gokumi (as written in the news.)

when cygames are actually animating something, its with their studio CygamesPictures
