Tughril Mahmut is a young pasha serving on the Divan of the Türkiye Stratocracy. The clouds of war are gathering over his country due to the threat of an aggressive Empire. With the Divan split between warmongers and the pacifists, Mahmut begins his quest to keep the peace at any cost. As he finds himself deeper and deeper in the politics of the ancient world, new enemies and allies surface. Who will prevail? What will Mahmut do if war proves to be inevitable?
I don't understand why this show has such a low ranking and review score on MAL.
It's not the most epic show ever, but it's an interesting take on a pretty generic concept: the main character who with a tragic past tries to stop warring nations with one applying more nefarious actions to achieve their goals, usually to capture more land and take over more countries. The setting is now in fictional interpreted historical Türkiye and the main character is a Pasha with an eagle counterpart. So as an avid anime watcher it's a good show to relax and watch. Of course many are probably
more critical than me, but sometimes you need to just ease up and enjoy what a show does well with instead or else you begin to find little enjoyment in watching anime anymore.
It's not on par with huge popular shows playing right now like My Hero Academia, but that doesn't mean it's any less enjoyable. It's a slow burning start, but it sets up an interesting political system and society as well as establishing the beginnings of the characters.
Just because the studio isn't releasing a new season of YOI doesn't mean this show is bad. Yes it needs work, like most shows. But I think this is a show with good potential, if it were to get a higher budget and could take a longer time to plan out and animate everything, then I think this show could achieve even better results.
Overall, watch this show, it's good, the MAL ranking and stars don't serve it justice. I hope MAPPA releases another season should this first season only release 12 episodes.
So previous review got deleted due to rules of sites , well here i m gonna write one again.(And i m not turkish , so no personal here , review as an normal otaku).
If you ask me about this anime i will say its awesome but sadly it is low rated on mal 6.72 rattings(Currently).
Well this is the most underrated anime of 2017.Yes the hidden gem.Mostly people forget about this anime after watching 1 or 2 episodes coz start was little weak but now after 1 arc is over i mean 13 episodes are over i will say its great anime.
You have lots of action
, strategies that will impress you so much. And MC (Mahmut) is not a losser type of.He is a badass like a boss type character who is trying to achieve his goals as to stop war at all costs.
Before you decided to drop this series after watching 1 or 2 episodes i personally recommend you that you should watch atleast 5 or 6 episodes.Thats the advice you need.
Dont give a look at score like i told at up that its a underrated anime.
We have a cool MC who is pasha when he was a kid his village got burned into ashes because of war and he was the survival in his village. The MC made his goal to stop something like that in future so he become a pasha of his nation , the youngest pasha. But sadly he got demoted when the empire attack a province of torkiye and he did not give value to his job and stop the enemy without considering his job.So another pasha add him into his spy network and thus his journey begin to find more knowledge and more about people and nations.Their he find other spies and journey keeps going on.I can tell much becoz further will coz spoilers. But i till you his companion Abriga is so badass.
The ost are amazing and i love both op and ending of this anime.
When it come about character i will say the characters are awesome(Except for Sahara , she is annoying). We have a cool zagnos pasha and he works good with his head. Then we have Kalos the kuluch and Abriga who can take down 50 man alone. There is sultan Balbana who is full with pride like vegeta , lol.And we have the villian of anime Magistrous Loius but i m not forsure that he is the final villian but he is a mastermind for sure.
I enjoyed while watching this anime. The anime is full with action and strategies. And MC is full with action and strategies that will impress you.
i enjoyed this alot and its keep getting batter after each episode.
I will say you should give a try and its worth. If you are too much religious then this review cant be helpful. But as an otaku its worth.Hope you liked it.
Sorry for bad english.
after I watched ten episodes, I was very impressed with the stories and characters that were brought ... a lot of messages, lessons and conspiracies put in this anime ... but, still packed lightly and easily digested
Altaïr is a shonen that made me crave for a while!
Kotono Kato takes us here in a fantastic universe that is reminiscent of the Ottoman Empire and the Mediterranean basin. Mahmut is a young Pasha who will find himself involved in conflicts that could plunge the Türkiye Empire into chaos. It will then be up to him to thwart the most terrible plots. But how do you do when
your loved ones are involved and risk their lives?
I am just writing this review because the rating is really low for what it actually is. Don't look at the 6.7 overall rating (at this time 15/10/2017) it is actually really good. Gave it a ten, because of the low rating, actual would be an overall 8.1.
The story is inspired by the time of the ottomans. It's though not in the form of depicting real history, but it's own. That's why the nation our MC is born is called (Turqeua/Turkey/Türkiye etc.) and has references to the Turkish names of things like pasha, sultan, bey, divan etc. I would say the author did a good
job in researching the language. haven't seen the full anime yet, but would give i a 8.6 rating for it's story.
The art style I would give an 8.2. It's very good and simple.
Sound is alright, not amazing, but good. The music in some places can make your emotions come out a little, even if you don't want it. 7.4
I wouldn't also say the character are amazing, but they are very diverse of how they act and fell to the story. 7.6
I have enyjoyed this more than any other in these past months. So a 8.7 for the ejoymen. (well for me atleast)
Actually when i think about it, this is my first review. huh? never thought this would happen.
