| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Eh, I think this was an ok start but nothing outstanding. We got to meet the main characters but no one particularly stands out for me just yet. The part with the space suits though lol Seems like the girls and guys has some degree of character chemistry together. I'm also interested in seeing what other technology they got in space there. |

| Well the main seems a bit over energetic and way to much of an airhead but somehow interesting. The other characters where funny as well the one of them reminds me of a robot and the other was full of herself. Speaking of full of themselves the male cast was way to full of themselves which was a bit annoying. |

| DIVINE SPLASHUUUU! Honestly that was pretty ridiculous, i laughed though when it all went off the rails at the end. MC girl is the best thing about the show, just her conversing with any random person ends up being fun to watch. I'll have to see if i warm up for the space fishing concept. |
| MC is the annoying energetic airhead girl type... yeah... I think the characters will make this show "original" quite less "original". Like seriously... space fishing! fishing is already something, but SPACE FISHING, like WTF! SO. Original idea and "universe", OK. The animation looked stiff even if the background is nice. In the train when she received her bag it was a "magic throwing animation" I don't even know why they lost times to make this useless scene... Well I know, it's to an introduction and description of the airhead character, like "SEE SEE SHE FORGET EVERYTHING, she lost her bag, she lost her way, YOU GET IT EH ? EH ? EH ?!" Characters, plot ? Looks LAME. They let a character without ANY FORMATION (don't tell me they didn't know, in this kind of thing you CHECK THE SKILLS OF THE CREW) and they should have abort the mission as soon as they find out. I think it's the kind of show you can enjoy if you don't forget to put your brain on "off" beforehand  |

| Cute girls go fishing in space, that's really an odd premise xD When I missed somsething last season,then it was a cute and relaxing show like this. I wasn't too fond of the action segment in the latter half, but the rest was for my liking. |

| It was absurd and I hated the idea of the whole gender thing with the guys looking like dicks and the girls looking like victims was so cliche and frustrating. The main girl was a bit annoying, but I hope I can grow on to enjoy her. Overall, an annoying start that feels a bit too feminist for me. Otherwise, it was still not even good. |

| I get that this is just a dumb anime plot point to make stuff happen, but it always annoys me when they just... expect a bunch of kids that are new in town to find their way around. Why do they never just send someone to the station to pick them up? It'd save them infinite amounts of time. |

Kinda refreshing after Yorimoi went the believability route and took half a season just to get to the boat. There are so many questionable facets to this worldbuilding, some more low-key. In the future, they start space fishing AND THEN have to pass an act to allow women to do it. Glorious Nippon. Unfortunately, I am expecting many critics of gender politics will call this feminism when it is much closer to a farce of feminism. Perhaps it's best that I not read comments regarding how gender is portrayed lest I pop a vein. And no one has mentioned this yet, but, uh... if all the fish in the world disappeared, where did they get the fish to fill the space tanks? I guess the guardian deities filled them up, huh? (Maybe Ebisu-sama, who strangely enough is not even mentioned in this episode when they're picking their deities.) I can accept a certain amount of suspension of disbelief, but that one really pushes it. Finally, I'm getting really sick of "there's an app for that" anime, where the phone/app might as well be a character since it's such an integral part. That's three strikes against this one, so I'm dropping it as fast as I can. |

| The male characters annoyed me. The only reason the girls wasn't successful at space fishing is because two of them haven't been to space yet and one of them (Haru) who is still on her first day space fishing to the point that she has no training. Of course they wouldn't be able to do the same as those who have already fully trained to space fish. There's nothing about space fishing that shows us that girls can't do it. So the male "Antagonists that will probably have a heart of gold once they get over their sexism" being mean to them is really going to annoy me. I don't have the same opinion on Haru as most of you. To me, she wasn't annoying at all. I like how friendly and outgoing she is. Haru is likely to be the one who brings the characters together with her ability to easily make friends. Also that cat was really pretty! The same with the fox deity. So cute!  I hope Ruby is introduced next episode. She looks adorable! |

| Was looking forward to this, and am not going to say I was disappointed, but wasn't expecting the guardian deity shit which made the premise seem a thousand times more childish than it could have been. Haru is pretty fun, not sure what everyone else's problem is. Will probably keep watching for the girls and the humor, the latter which worked for me. |
| Lol @ people whining about the men being dicks and females being victims when in reality anime often has females who fit set tropes and a select couple are the female being a-holes. Though, they are female and the anime fandom loves their waifus. Yet agai the anime fandom displays hypocritical and potentially sexist views on characters. |

| i have to say i LOVE Maki's voice =D (specially when she was talking about the commands and stuff at minute 13) i wasnt going to watch this how because of the space fish premise, but i ended up checking it, and so far it isn't that bad, i might actually finish it lol people hating on the main girl being energetic, i say that, seeing her energetic stuff in the preview was what made me want to check the episode |

| Why can't we just fish normally with a boat, boots and a fishing rod? What's up with that flashy space and magic fishing?? It was more like a slaughter than fishing, they were attacking rather than fishing. Man this was such a let down, I thought it would be as the synopsis say, a good old regular fishing trip of girls who dream of catching the big one with regular equipments please. What's up with all the apps and god tiers??? This is will be a drag for me, hello bad anime (*sigh) |

| The concept was interesting, but it lacks seriouness, a lot of it. The characters were obnoxious, the comedy was terrible and the plot was dumb, everything was handled in pretty much the worst way possible. The only props I can give this episode is that at least it was not as stupid as the first ep of Classrooom Crisis, so it's just the 2nd worst start for a disappointing space related anime. |
| A score of 5? MAL being MAL, filled with idiots that doesn't know how to enjoy wacky and over the top shows. Oh, it's probably because the protagonist are all girls or something and there's no important guy to get all the girls. |
| Oh God...another smartphone game adaptation? And by the same studio, TMS Entertainment, no less, with the SAME production help that did the obscene Senjuushi last season... Have to say that while this show had the YoriMoi feels, the most obvious part is not to expect anything on the levels of YoriMoi. Other than that, it's...SUBJECTIVELY ok, and the smartphone troupe is plastered everywhere to the level of annoyance. The plot is TOO FAST (almost felt like Episode 2) to begin with, and even if it's meant to be a showcase, the producers obviously didn't care and just manifested everything here, as if to tell us: "Hey ppl! This is what you're gonna see for the rest of everything, so it's copy-and-paste!" The concept of space + fishing...it is like those free-for-all fishing arcade machines, same concept, poor adaptation. We don't need another Senjuushi, and this show just proved a similar concept. |

App download!? Well..this is a gacha game after all... Wow...nice environments...lots of color...You don't see that everyday in anime... So she got the scout deity? I think that's pretty useful... Holy crap this is like Mecha Monster Hunter Underwater...IN SPACE! If they can do action scenes like this in each episode (or at least every other episode), then I am down with this! The first minutes of Haru doing random cute stuff was a bit of a time waste though, so hopefully less of that and more fishing... |

| Hmm.. not bad... but also not very good. Fishing for large tuna in space? And the conflict seems forced... it's newbie vs. veteran fishermen, predictable result. Will give this the 3 episode test. Or maybe watch it when I run out of things to watch. |

| Main Character is objectively the worst type of character. Unbearably annoying, a detriment to others and non-apologetic about that, and completely unaware of anything going on around her. A waste of space. Space fishing isn't the worst idea, but putting gods into smartphones to catch them is absolute bullshit. This anime is so dumb. I thought it was just going to be a slice of life, warm and fuzzy girls fishing show with an interesting environment. I would have rated it like a six, but enjoyed watching it. This instead is just bottom of the barrel trash. 3 or 4/10 moving on. |
