| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So we got a swimsuit this episode. Only 4 episodes in so that didn't long. In regards to the episode itself, I feel like it's more and more similar to our modern world with every passing week. Pretty fun stuff. That American Western reference though lol. That Ruby girl is also so energetic. |

| Well the sexist didn't appear which was a very good thing. Despite that Namino was still putting up airs. Ruby has even more energy than the main girls and her behaviour is all over the place tho it was almost irony of her that she didn't want the eat sasami at first. |
| A beach episode is basically a must for this show. Fun episode overall and damn, that king tuna block looked yummy. |

| Disappointing that the coordinator lady was too obsessed with looking As White As Possible to put on a swimsuit and get in the water, that could have made the episode considerably better. Plenty of Americans outright will not eat fish in... whatever region I live in. (The midwest doesn't want Kentucky, and the south REALLY doesn't) Americans are loud, brash, rude and annoying, riiight? It's impressive that currently a whole half of the main six are annoying, while green, gray and purple have nothing to do beyond cute dialects. Maybe gray will be featured next week since the title starts with "boku." When I discovered this show last year I was hoping the characters would be living on a space station or starship for most of it, but apparently they launch in a rocket and return to Earth for every single fishing trip. The concept could hardly have been made more impractical, even by intentional design. |

She tells Ruby to not make excuses, but literally made an excuse saying Ruby had beginners luck and its s why she did better than Namino herself. Not to mention, she is so unlikable. Though of course, shes a woman so most anime fans wont care. |

| Whenever I hear Haru talk, my brain just hurts. I just can't get used to her voice. It feels so odd to me. This episode was the best among the 4, but Namino's character is just badly written to me. We just went through shit where she hated Haru and now we go on repeat with her and Ruby. Fresh content people. |
| This episode in a nutshell: Namino is a dick: The Anime And I thought she was buttered up enough last episode. Oh well, Ruby turned out to be a good addition and Haru seemed to be less retarded too. It's progress. |

| No changes... Ruby is still best girl; Namino is still a total bitch. If it weren't for Namino, I'd rate it 3 points higher. If it weren't for Ruby, I'd have dropped this by now. I'm just watching this show for Ruby at this point - Namino has ruined it that much. If Namino doesn't face karma soon, I may still drop it. I ended my Wednesday with this one since it was what I was least hyped for; next week I start with this so I can use the others to get over how awful this is. |

| Yay for 007 reference! "Japan is the only country in the world that has implemented space fishing." JAPAN! "Eating raw fish is unsafe." Well...she does have a point... Great. Ruby is a little girl who's already in her second year of college... Bat Binny and Marchan the Martian = Bugs Bunny and Marvin the Martian. Looks like there are some creators who still remember Looney Tunes... "Only Japanese people eat eggs raw". Whoa! That's super racist! *DING!* WHAT THE HELL IS THAT! They did not just make a The Deadliest Catch reference here. Geez, that show gets around... Ok, I have to give this show credit here: Ruby is a California girl! Aww they didn't show the fishing match against Namino. Oh well. They better be saving that budget for something good. |

| I'm similar like Ruby, doesn't eat raw foods...sashimi is fine but I don't also eat raw eggs. i only eat it scrambled! i don't even eat it sunny side-up. LOL at the chef being ticked-off by ruby since she didn't welcomed the sashimi but at the end she ended-up loving it! 4/5. |

| A beach episode and we're just on episode 4. ^___^ The addition of Ruby made things better. And don't force a person to eat food that they don't like to eat. Well, I like japanese foods.. Pork Tonkatsu, Katsudon, Miso Soup, and I regularly eat takoyaki as a snack (lucky that there's a girl who's a good cook opened a store near where I live).... but there are some japanese foods I can't eat.. like RAW fish. Getting angry just because someone won't eat raw fish only makes ya look like a moron Namino. Tarotist said: Yay for 007 reference! Yeah, that's a nice reference. | I've read somewhere before that eating raw fish could get you salmonella. I ate sashimi before when I was a kid. Ruby is a bit annoying, but Namno is the worst. What a B. She gets too riled up over our little half Japanese over here just because she don't like raw fish. That's part of her when she grew up. Namino tells Ruby not to make excuses but she did it as well. The girls need to tell her she needs to effing chill and work as a team. |
