| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was so relaxing to watch, nice. I also really like Kowata and Chito's chemistry, adorable. Pacing is smooth and there's a mix of fantasy and reality with this. It didn't adapt too much yet but I think it's consistent so far. Cute/5. The magic parts with the flying broom is cute too, glad to see they adapted to the part where she pulls out the mandrake.  |

| It's finally here!1 I have been waiting for this since the manga is really nice. And it was a pretty funny episode i could not stop laughing when Chinatsu said Onii-chan no onna. And the part where Nao saw them flying on the broom, that face. |
| Ahhh, I really really enjoyed this episode. I'm a sucker for anime set in the countryside~ Makoto being bad with directions, I understand her. I go somewhere and I forget where I came from in a matter of seconds. The end where she pulled the mandrake was too amazing :' D I also really like the opening, it somewhat reminds me of Gin no Saji but that's only a given since it's by miwa. Her songs are always so fun and carefree~ It's nice to hear 96neko in the opening as well since I like her utattemita covers~ |

| i thought this was gonna be a harem anime or girly girls being moe anime. Too my surprise it was nice, soothing and relaxing to watch. Damn that mandraek at the end got me like wtf |

| This is the Grimgar of this season for me, slow paced and calm (ignoring the action in former). Makoto is so cute! I could just stare at her whole day. Chinatsu's face when Makoto was flying was so funny. The Madrake bit was so funny, i hope Nao recovers from that! |

| I went into this show blindly, only thing I knew about that it was SoL with some supernatrual elements. So I went in expecting a good SoL with supernatrual elements And it certainly delivered.. just not in any way that I was expecting. It was a good episode, funny and relaxing. This might be my AOTS And where's that dark skin babe? She's the reason I decided to watch this. She better appear in the next episode. |

| Super chill and peaceful with some nice scenery, everything I was hoping for, great episode. I knew the moment she told Nao to cover her ears and grabbed the root that it was a mandrake cause I'm a fantasy nerd :p Still looked freaky though. |

T O T A L L Y . M Y . T Y P E . O F . A N I M E ! !  Chinatsu mood changing over time was so enjoyable. She even started calling Makoto as Mako-nee! So we have learned some good stuff about witches in this episode. Let's see what we have here: - There are no punishments if the witch thingy is made known to outsiders but it's preferred to keep it within the relatives only yet Makoto took a broom ride under broad daylight over the town! - Brooms are supposed to be convenient but no, they are not. They hurt between the legs. Kei nonchalantly telling Makoto not to show where it hurts made me lol. - Chito the cat will talk at some point. I am sure. (Why else would the have Kayano Ai voicing nyan!) Oh, Nao's reactions are priceless! http://i.imgur.com/TIT8rw6.jpg That OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! | JC Staff nailed it. Both the heart-warmingly adorable moments and the comedic timing of the more humorous scenes. The pacing is great too and was about as relaxing as I was expecting. Already my favourite anime this season for sure. I just love how witches are just another aspect of life in this world and while they're rare, people are generally accepting of them. It reminds me of Kiki's Delivery Service in that way. |
| So there was a guy in it... Didn't expect. "Brother's girlfriend?" Same. Oh I liked the broom scene! Reminded me of Aria. Mandrake scene killed me lmao. Okay okay it's a solid 8/10, was gonna settle with 7 but nope, that scene was too good. At first I was a little disappointed because I thought it'd set in a more fantasy world. Instead we got real-life high school setting. I feel like I'll get used to it, I can see it only get better from here onward. |

| Very relaxing and I didn't expect it to be that funny :) I'm kind of sad,because I thoyght that this guy will be like her lover or something,but he ened up being his cousin ;/ But oh well lol + the scene when they showed him singing with his friends was very funny to me lol |

| Gee, the animation in this is terrific. I started getting pissed at the public WIFI for being too friggin slow, but it caught up soon enough. The mood is tranquil, the comedy gentle and charming, the characters endearing. I'm hooked already. I love these slow-paced rural shows so much. |
| My soul felt soothed the moment the first note of the bgm played. They really delivered with the relaxing atmosphere. I think they chose well to go with mainly newbie VAs since they give off a more natural feel. I agree Kei's voice feels a little off sometimes, but he'll probably improve and it's not that bad imo. It's been awhile since I first picked the manga, and when it got to the mandrake scene, I thought, "I think it has a face but can't remember how it looked like." Of course it was some creepy face XD Pleasant surprise, and a really funny scene. Both Makoto and Kei are pretty "my pace," heh, as expected of cousins. Miwa was also the perfect choice for OP song, her voice always reminds me of the countryside for some reason (she also the OP for Gin no Saji). |
| Really enjoyed it. It gave me a nice relaxing feeling, well it was relaxing until that fucking plant screamed and almost blew up my headphones. Seriously though, I have high hopes for this one. Made me laugh, great art/animation, I like all the characters so far, and it has some feel good vibes to it. The song at the end and the overall OST was great too. |
