About me
The first anime I've watched was
Uchuu Densetsu Ulysses 31 in 1991, followed by
Taiyou no Ko Esteban in 1992, and later by
Sailor Moon,
Captain Tsubasa and
Yattaman in 1993 or 1994. All of them were just
cartoons for me back then.
Around 1996 or 1997 a friend of mine showed me
Ghost in the Shell. Although I still did not know that it was an anime, I was amazed that an animated movie can be so good (in animation, plot and soundtrack). After watching it I did some research and learnt that it was from Japan. Somehow I've missed the information that it was an anime.
Another few years have passed and around 2000 I saw my younger brother (15 years old at that time) watching some
cartoon. As I was waiting for a friend of mine (and had nothing better to do), I've watched it with him. There was an old man wearing a turtle shell, a young boy with a monkey tail and a bald one. I don't remember which episode it was, but I've laughed till tears. After that I've started watching this
cartoon with him. Some of you may already know what was it, but for those who don't, it was
Dragon Ball. After Dragon Ball the TV station broadcast
Dragon Ball Z, and later
Dragon Ball GT. That's how I've learnt what anime is and how my adventure with anime began.
Few years after the last episode of Dragon Ball GT my brother found
Bleach and we've started to watch it together. In 2006 or 2007, while still watching Bleach, I've discovered Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki's films. The first one I saw was
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. After watching it I had the same feeling I had after Ghost in the Shell - the animation, plot and soundtrack were perfect. The next one was
Spirited Away and later
My Neighbor Totoro.
In the years that followed I've discovered many great anime, including
Steins;Gate,
Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica,
Shinsekai Yori,
Aria the Origination,
Legend of the Galactic Heroes,
Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu: Sukeroku Futatabi-hen,
Made in Abyss,
Nichijou,
Gosick,
Kemono no Souja Erin,
Bocchi the Rock! and
Sousou no Frieren.
If you think there is a great anime I should watch, and it's not on my
plan to watch list, don't hesitate to recommend it to me :-)
Cheers!

we kinda have the same score for many things so i thought we might get along as we roughly share the same taste
I also found this quote while looking for the other one and it reminded me that Estelle can be quite ruthless! Shame the newer games don't show this kind of stuff lol:

What will happen to unpopular anime supporters club?
You want recommendations of anime that are not on your PTW and I have a handful it seems!
Himote House
Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight
Estab-Life
Urahara
Three of those anime, Estab-Life, Manabi Straight and Himote House are anime that both my close friend CureEtude and I agreed are great anime! In fact, I recommended Manabi Straight to CureEtude and it became his favorite anime of all time! :D
Thank you ♥
i hope they let me join
