This movie is so adorable, and aside from being relaxing and heartwarming, i found it as something i can relate so much especially with Natsumi and bring back some nostalgic memories. Because back when i was a kid, my family always visit my grandparents and my aunt at our hometown once in a few years, and i always played with my cousin together as we are in same age, and that's why our bond was created even stronger than a sibling since we rarely met and use every time we had to having fun, and in the end i usually always ended up crying everytime the holiday was over because it was time to go back home and i didn't want our time to be over..

Now when we already become grown up men everything just ended up as sweet childhood memories..

didn't catch any nostalgia vibes from this one. haven't been to Okinawa, sadly
but it was indeed a pretty wholesome and kind trip

the still nature shots were gorgeous as always, really beautiful. the OST lacked something imo. while it was good, it wasn't as sentimental as the OST from the past seasons. i mean, the main theme played a bit at the beginning, but it wasn't enough for the feelz
also, the audio at times felt weird. especially when they're in the distance, they did this strange echo for some reason. but it's really just a minor issue and does not affect the experience

LOOK AT THESE SMILES. LOOK AT THEM.... beautiful
p.s. onii-chan MVP for making this trip real

Was in the middle of a Non Non Biyori rewatch and this movie just hit! Perfect timing!

What can I say? This was absolutely amazing. Loved how they redid scenes from the first season OVA to make the movie as self-contained as possible.

What I loved most about this movie was how they were able to make the trip to Okinawa even more heartfelt and sentimental by having them establish a relationship with one of the characters there. That, I thought, literally added a very human element to their experience that even other vacation films like K-ON! did not have. (Though, to be fair, the K-ON! film wasn't really about their experience in London at all.) The way they were able to tie that all together with Ren-chon's drawing at the end was pitch perfect (that scene also highlighted Ren-chon's precociousness and perceptiveness).

Last but not least, the scenery is something that Non Non Biyori excels in and this movie was no exception. Honestly, it even made me really interested in visiting Okinawa.

Right, right! Although I had already forgotten why I so adored this franchise in the past, this film quickly made me regain all my love for NNB. Amazing film and "experience" tourist trip. Perhaps I could not fully feel this because I myself live near the southern seaside resort, but nevertheless I, with a clear conscience, give it 8 points out of 10.

I had hopes on this making me want to give a rewatch to the series since I was super meh on it back then, but sadly I didn't care about this movie.

The goodbye scene was the only part I liked, but it had way less impact than it could have due to my lack of attachment to the cast, 4.5/10 from my part.

So, this guy wins a trip to Okinawa, and decides to take everyone along - two imoutos, the precocious kouhai, sundry senpais, one sensei and the loli; and when he gets there he completes the harem with a meido.

I enjoyed it, bought back memories of going on holiday and making good friends...only to have to say goodbye way too early.

I like the way the bigger kids are basically surrogate parents to Ren, in the west, teenagers would consider themselves too cool to hang around with a 10 year old.

I also like how the boy never says a word.

It is such a wonderful movie. It has the right mixture of fun, comedy adventure with the right balance of heartfelt coming of age drama mixed in, along with that innocent sense of wonder to the humble yet meaningful things in this world that, as we grow we tend to neglect.

From what I gather from the film, if we based it chronologically to the the two season TV series, this event happened near the end of their first summer break. It would place it around after Eps 6 but before Eps 7 of season 1, and around after Eps 7 of Repeat seaon 2 but before Eps 8.

The one big flaw and only flaw of the of movie is the character of Konomi in it (as well as fault to the first OVA).
In the series proper she only appear after Eps. 8 of S1 and Eps 9 of season 2 (if we discount the the flashback).
Konomi only met Hotaru after summer break (eps 8 S1), near Autumn actually. So, yeah a little time discrepancy to that. Not really a big deal and it didn't effect much the enjoyment of the film.

This is pretty much just my boring vacations days, with the characters (outside of Natssun's side plot) taking a backseat to the setting which I didn't get into much. It was much more fun with the characters playing in the country side.

And for a movie it sure had a lot of stills.

So happy to see the girls again, especially my sweet Ren-chon ♥

It was such a great movie, I was smiling during practically the whole time because it helped me remember about how relaxing and heartwarming the main series was, so many happy memories came to my mind while watching it.

I also found Aoi to be a very lovely character, I really liked her and the bond she and Natsumi made was so sweet to watch as well. The last day they all spend together was nice and the stargazing scene at the end of the day was simply breathtaking, easily my favorite sequence of the movie.

All in all, it was a truly beautiful film and I really hope it doesn't be the last thing we'll see from NNB. Still waiting for a third season. 8/10

just finished watching the movie fansubbed by [FFF-Vivid]
The movie was absolutely great! all the landscapes are extremely beautiful!
Renge's Nyanpasu was very addicting! you know what!? Renge is the only element that keeps this show lively! and of course the complete cast!
Komari again went with her misunderstanding and she wend total red blushed!
So this is the trip to Okinawa that the silent bro won!
LOLZ at Hika-nee! she just didn't want Renge to see her grovel on her knees! but it was useless since Renge still heard the whole thing!
Nice! Snorkling and Kayaking!
Kazu-chan is so energetic but went wrong and immediately got extremely tired! LOLZ
I tried to google maps Hirakubozaki and it was real (lolz of course)
Aoi-chan completely destroyed Nattsun in their badminton match!
That slowing stars at night and the sparkle algae was so mystifying!
The most touching end emotional and dramatic part was Nattsun crying...never expected her to cry at all! Obviously she never expected to end-up loving Okinawa especially the special friendship of her same age Aoi-chan. LOLZ even Hika-nee cried!
5/5.
9/10.

It was so good to see the cast again, eventho it hasn't been too long since I actually watched both seasons. What I was most surprised about is that part of the OVA was covered in the movie. Which made the runtime for the movie even less than it already was.

However this was such a great, heartwarming movie. It basically has everything you could expect from Non Non Biyori. Cute girls doing cute things, Fun interactions between the characters, absolutely beautiful scenery (eventho some of them were stills, they were gorgeous).

I can relate to how Natsumi felt for having to leave. My first vacation, I was around and about the same age as the girls and after spending some time with people you meet for the first time, having fun and everything. It's hard to say goodbye again. Bringing back some good memories.

I'm a bit biased towards NNB, cause in my opinion it's the best Slice of Life Anime I have seen (so far), so it would be 10/10 for me.

Now I want to go see Okinawa for myself.

Man, when I thought that I saw everything and got teary-eyed when Natsu cried, then Renge goes all mature and pretty much tells Nattsun not to just leave like that AND THEN she gives her that adorable drawing :') My heart can't take this...

I loved the anime already, one of my favorites ever. I had high expectations, but I mostly thought it's just gonna be the same heartwarming and wholesome stuff we saw already. But no. They outdid themselves with the story arc of Nattsun and Aoi. I'm glad to see Nattsun have some more serious moments to shine. Hell, pretty much everyone had their moments to shine, either with comedy or just heartwarming scenes. Nattsun pointing out that Hikage was also crying on their last day was just way too funny during the emotional moment, they hit a perfect balance throughout the movie. The same thing happened with the K-On! Movie as well (although I still love that one more). I was literally smiling through the movie.

I can only hope that we will get a new season or movie eventually, and if we do, I hope we can see Aoi once again. She was a great addition to the group.
As it stands now, I just can't give this anything lower than what I gave to the anime, a 10/10. A rare score from me, reserved only for my absolute favorite anime. Wholesome anime are just great.

you can tell they kinda try put some emphasis/focus on the short relationship between Natsumi and Aoi (inn girl) by the end, and i don't think it necessarily delivers as much in that regard.

we just don't really get much reason to like aoi as a character really much, i mean ok she's passionate at badminton, what else? i guess she introduces the cast to some pretty badass places, but that's more love for the setting and not much for aoi herself, which i guess we're supposed to care more about, with the crying, ren's cute picture and everything

on the other hand, everything else works pretty well as what's just a typical especially extended episode. and that's certainly not a bad thing

Natsumi crying for Aoi was a bit sad, guess can't blame her after all the memories she made with her. But thanks to Ren-chon's sketch she won't be too lonely and will have a bit of memory.

As for Ren-chon too bad she didn't get to sketch a dolphin. Overall I will definitely miss this series, I hope some day they will release something for us fans of the series.

If we consider the whole film as a kind of nostalgia for family trips, then in my opinion, this is the most wonderful part of the film. Although in my real life I was mainly in the place of Aoi, since I live in a semi-resort town, Vacation actually managed to get me back to my childhood and liven up my experience of spending time with new friends during the summer.

Watching this movie brought back a lot of fond memories of mine when my whole extended family and I used to go to trips back then. I can even relate to Natsumi getting to fond of other people they wont be seeing anytime soon. It's really sad that these things won't happen anymore especially with everyone doing growing up and being far apart. Good addition to the franchise and will be looking forward to the next.

Animation film suitable for these hot and humid days: the narration is digestible, as in the past with the TV series of this anime series, however a suggestion to those who want to watch the film: following the stories told in the TV series, you will get better in view of the various characters and you will more easily understand their way of thinking and acting towards the contexts addressed. I really appreciated this film because it carries out the plot and enriches the characters in their cultural hinterland, it is also an opportunity to get to know a famous tourist destination, given that the quality of the seabed and the drawings is of great value, even if not excellent. A pleasant film that in its simplicity makes the work created by the mangaka, Atto, even more valuable, and gives an opportunity to discover, for those who do not know it, an aspect of Japanese culture: respect not only for people, but also for animals and not, as the place to return to, the home. "Home Sweet Home!"

Aw man this was so nice to finally see, I'm pumped for the third season.

Natsumi getting some time in the spotlight was really nice to see, I imagine she's come out of this experience with perhaps just a little more maturity than normal. The new girl was super sweet.

This movie definitely accomplished what it set out to do, bringing us these characters we love and seeing them set free from their regular daily lives.

Easy 9/10, just like the first two seasons.
