| Man, I've been getting bad vibes from this series ever since Akio seduced Utena a few episodes back. I don't think this will end well for Utena, especially with Touga's warning going unheeded. |

| I gotta say, these last few episodes are really what made me glad I continued to watch this anime. Not that it was bad, I was enjoying it, but not as much as I thought I would, up until about episode 33-34. Every time I see Anthy with her hair down, I swear it just gets longer and longer. I told myself I wasn't gonna watch any more episodes tonight so I can sleep but after that cliffhanger? Psh I might just finish this anime tonight. |

| Excellent episode. I liked the change in format for the final(?) duel and Utena slicing the cars in half was pretty badass. That ending with the stare down between Utena and Anthy was just as intense though. |

| This episode though... Finally Utena gets to see what's going on with Akio and Anthy. On a side note, I don't understand how Utena can kiss a guy who's already engaged... xD The posing is still hilarious and the hair physics this episode was strange. By the way, that match was totally a Yaoi vs Yuri match. |

| Lol at Saionji being Touga's 'bride" for the duel and speaking of Touga i was actually rooting for him to win. While i still can't stand the dude, he's nowhere near as bad as Akio. YES! It's about damn time Utena caught them. |

| I love Utena to death and she's easily a top 20 character for me now, but I have to say that in addition to being very kind and loyal (and hot and athletic) she's also gotta be one of the most naive and clueless (dense) mc's ever. |

| There's something sad about coming this far in the anime. Touga the last of the Student Council has been defeated. No one will come after Anthy anymore. Nothing left but the final showdown with Akio to look forward to. Touga was great in this episode his big sendoff. I particularly enjoyed his conversations with Saonji, who's bare chested pose at the end of the motorcycle scene left me grinning. Much like Nanami, I think these two are terrible people. But the show has done a good job of making them sympathetic near the end. They're no longer menacing but vaguely desperate and pathetic. They've realized they're pawns in someone else is bigger game, they're obsolete. And in that vein there was something powerful to me about Saonjis question at the end "Is this the end for us?" As well As Touga's meta answer "not until the story is over." This episode feels like a major turning point for me, as what has been the show's core concept of people duel Utena for Anthy is over. After committing so much to this series there's a powerful feeling to see it start to unravel or depending on how everything goes wind down. One of my favorite scenes that highlighted this was the quick aside with Miki and Jury remarking that Utena will soon be the one to revolutionize the world. While he is a pig who just viewed Utena as an object, I can't help but have a bad feeling about what that will end up meaning given how against this Touga was. In what is a pretty powerful episode in general the most shocking scene is definitely the cliffhanger. One of many we've seen near the end of the show, that will leave you in disbelief and a strong desire to just press forward. Utena has seen Akio's dark secret now, and her eye contact with Anthy at the end is chilling. If you're even the slightest bit invested in the show that's a compelling hook. I'm also feeling a sense of uneasiness at the preview for the next episode. It seems to indicate Anthy is mad at Utena, could be a joke but if that's the case that's something I'm dreading seeing. |

| I was thinking to myself in this episode that it really may be better in some senses if Touga won. He seems like he's been changing, and he knows how evil Akio is. Utena was clueless until the end of the episode. It does make you wonder if this is heading toward a bad end. |

| Did anyone else think the art in this episode was kinda ugly? Especially Touga's face. So Utena's finally won the power to bring the world revolution. However, I think Touga and Saionji were right to warn her about "End of the World", and it looks like things are about to get twisty. That stare down between Utena and Anthy...Anthy was barely recognizable from how she usually is with Utena. |

| Saionji and Touga are so GAY in their scenes. All this posing and sexual subtext is just hilarious, especially the moment when Saionji said he didn't like to be dominated while riding in the trailer of a motorbike. And in the end he performed the role of Touga's bride, pulling out a sword out of his chest. It seems to me that these 2 characters are now supposed to be "the good guys" trying to save Utena from something very creepy. Touga even seems jealous of Akio (it's very apparent when Akio "steals" Utena from Touga by taking her on a horseride). However, Touga finally managed to get close to Utena... and it's even implied they had sex? I'm referring to the shot of Touga embracing naked Utena from behind. I'm also waiting for Nanami to reappear - she needs to know the truth about her brother! |

| I wonder if Touga is genuinely trying to save/protect Utena from something or if he just wants an excuse to get with her. I feel like it's a mix of both or the first. I mean, it's also a bit weird with how just not straight he acts for him to actually want to be with Utena?? Like my guy is gay. No doubt about it, but bisexual? Idk, all the times he has acted like he is attracted to women, like flirting or getting with them, it is just to gain something from them, not actually because he actually finds them hot or anything. Also OMG!! That ending, what will happen now?? |

| Touga tried to save Utena in his own way but of course, he couldn't make it in the end. Now Utena is the person designated to revolutionize the world... exactly as Akio wanted. Also, finally Utena finds out about the deal with Anthy disappearing almost every night. Seriously, it was about damn time. |

| I felt really conflicted this episode, despite everything I find myself liking Touga and Saionji and I was really wondering if Utena was going to lose. It really made me think whether it would be better if she won or lost because despite the two of them finally gaining some brain cells and making sense, I can't really trust them. Ahhh things are getting so exciting now that we are nearing the end! |
