| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah I just love Futaba and Hikari's relationship in this show. Feels so natural and fun to watch. And that whistle! Looks like they are finally joining the diving club. I think Katori makes the perfect supervisor with her knowledge about diving. Not a diver here but I think the info dump was interesting especially the part about not holding breath. Good building episode. Also, I think at this point, Futaba will probably refer Hikari as Pikari. (cuter name imo) |

| The girls got scolded well one of them at least. And the other started learning the basics of diving. It was another great episode. |
| The character designs are so beautiful. Continues to be in my top 3 of the season with Amaama to Inazuma and Saiki. The diving lesson was also relaxing and informative, really liked this part. |
| This show is great at easing anxiety alright. Between the beautiful cherry blossom viewing and yurilicious glomp scene it's always a very pleasant experience. All three of those girls are just lovely. :) |
| Now this is more like it. They finally start to learn about diving and stuff together as club member. And that useful lesson about diving too, surely sounds exciting. |

| Really charming episode, I could only smile while watching this. I love how Hikari and Futaba's relationship is slowly building up. Very nice of Pikari to cheer Teko up with the cherry blossoms, That was a really heartwarming and captivating scene :D Looks like we're finally getting our hands-on info about diving, It was kinda cute to see how Pikari kept hinting the answers to Teko. All those Teko blushes <3 , Loving all the characters so far. It's really great to see how Futaba's impression of her new school life is changing towards the better as she spends time with Hikari. |

| Favorite Slice of Life show of the season. I love the quirky characters and the production values are really good. Definitely a keeper. |
| That was really funny and sweet. I like some of the subtler character interactions, like when Futaba wanted to join the two girls talking, and her confidence was broken when she saw how much they were enjoying each other's company. I can relate with that. You worry about interrupting people's fun. Hikari reminds me of Harpo Marx. 5/5 |
| Pikari is so cute when her face is not deformed. Hell, everyone are so cute. That sakuras, and scenery. Probably the most beautiful series from JC Staff. It's even prettier than Flying Witch. |

| I laughed when Katori confronts Hikari about entering the diving club room without permission and then smacks her on the head when she confesses, but when Futaba meekly admits she was with Hikari in the club room Katori hits Hikari again. Katori is a good judge of character. |

| We learned a lot about diving in this episode, which was really fun actually XD. And you simply gotta love Hikari and Futaba's relationship. The teacher is great as well <3. Lovely episode. |

| I came to this show to see some picturesque diving scenes and some hot lesbian action and so far we haven't seen much of either. They better deliver at least one of these two things in the next episode. But seriously I am enjoying this show. |

| Until now Teko was carrying the entire show for me, but now I'm starting to like Hikari too, probably because this is the first time we saw Hikari's normal face more than her creepy chibi face. That face would fit right into a show like Higurashi. She also reminds me a bit of Maon from Tamayura, with her habit of whistling to overcome her anxiety and nervousness. fatalystic said: Heads-up: there is no lesbian romance in this at all. | Another nice episode. Some of the character art still isn't quite doing it for me, but it's at least growing on me enough to be less of a distraction. And so we get into some of the diving basics. At some point, I should probably make a thread on key things they may or may not address. There's enough important information and procedure for a written exam after all. I personally hope they go into buddy breathing. With the way anime tends to deal with "indirect kisses," they could really have some fun with that! Fun fact: chewing gum causes you to naturally perform equalization technique 1 by generating large amounts of saliva that has to be swallowed regularly. This is why chewing it on airplane takeoff and landing prevents your ears from hurting. The technique also does not require saliva to work. As long as your body performs the swallowing procedure, even if you swallowed nothing but air, it will equalize. |

| So Futaba is still having trouble getting used to the new school and making friends. She mustered up some courage to go and join a group of girls, but decided against it because she felt it was impossible. And then Pikari shows up to her relief. And Futaba learns stuff about diving. Like how the changes in pressure can cause problems and how to avoid them etc. before going for actual diving. Lol Pikari moving her jaw left and right. And after hearing almost everyone calling Hikari Pikari, she ends up calling her Pikari too. |

| 1st half focuses on Teko's social anxiety and for Pikari to cheer her up was definitely heartwarming if only I have a friend like that just damn that's definitely a keeper, I'm jelly :P. Well Pikari's grandma is right you know, you can live the rest of your life as miserable as you want but there's no point in living a life that way remember YOLO and time is gold once you lost it you can't get it back, but if you decide to be happy then you will definitely find happiness anytime anywhere remember nothing can bring happiness but yourself. Anyway we even learned that Pikari is also not very good at talking to people, so that's another purpose of that whistle other than for breathing mannerisms and so that's also the reason why the way she acts in the previous eps. seems like forced in some way. 2nd half is more on the diving side of the series, you know what, Katori-sensei is just one of those teachers you definitely want to be in your class, kinda reminds me of Akira (Ferrari) in some way minus the strict side though: she's kind, approachable, heck even cooler by calling students by nicknames, and also hot deym hips and that outfit hehe ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) . I also laugh at Teko and Pikari reacting at lessons like seriously though who want to listen to a borefest of a lecture but when Katori-sensei begins her lecture, now I understand the importance of this one since this is definitely a life-saver for aspiring divers out there, like damn it's so scary to think about crushed organs or bursting organs. Also just as the other guy said, gotta admit though I also try some of the ear equalization techniques out of curiosity lol now I can use this in some way when riding an airplane or even diving in the future. Overall so far, I really love the valuable lessons learned in this series not only in life lessons but also some rare random informative tidbits that you know can't even be learned in school. Art and Animation continues to be an eyegasm, especially the close-ups like damn so good. |

| For some reason I had trouble breathing normally during the diving talk, like I was conscious of my own breathing and it felt like there was not enough air in my lungs or something. But the ep was lovely like always. This is so my AOTS. |
