| That was one hell of an episode. I didn't expect Nishimi kissing Ritsuko so early at all. Kind of unrealistic but then again Nishimi never thought he could feel that kind of love so it's slightly understandable. The realism/racism that Japan had against America after ww2 in the 50's was shown through the bullying from Sentarou which made me sad :( Wasn't expecting an American in anime to speak with an actual American accent. Nice to see not everything is Engrish around here. |

| Wow I didn't expect Kaoru to kiss Ritsuko just like that. Hats off to him for having guts but then I remember this is like Japan in the 60s (right?). You just don't go kissing girls like that XD I don't blame Yurika for falling for Jun. Sentaro's getting left out though T__T |

| So, not only is there love geometry, but the whole show is going to revolve around it. *sigh* If I'd known that, I would never have even started watching this. I think it would be better if I actually liked jazz, it'd make it easier to tolerate the "romance". 2Kalt said: Horny teenagers with poor self control. Honestly, if she actually liked him, it would have been the perfect moment for it. As it was, he really shouldn't have done it no matter how much he wanted to.That kiss scene felt a little forced. | Wasn't really a fan of the live performance in this ep, it did start to sound too messy and cluttered for my taste. But racist drunk guy made me wanna throw up. I'm surprised how well they nailed the english though. The song too, although it's probably easier to get the pronunciations/accents right through music. The kiss scene was cute until Ri teared up. Unexpected kisses can be cute if the feeling is reciprocated, but that was kind of a bad move on his part since she may have not wanted to kiss him. If it was her first kiss that would be even worse. :/ The feelings of attraction between the characters in this show is flying around everywhere haha. I'm really into Sentaro's character. His background had me on the verge of tears which is a good sign considering we're only 4 episodes in. He's definitely my favorite so far. |

| When I began watching this show, I was instantly hooked. It wasn't until four episode later did I realize I still had no real thoughts yet. So far, it has been one smooth ride, and as a fan of jazz, I feel that I've been much more forgiving of this show than I should. At least, I should have at least some caution. I've always been wary of shows with love polygons, but in this case, we have a love chain. I'm unsure of how this will resolve itself, especially with the constraints of 12 episodes, but for now, I'm wholeheartedly enjoying the ride. |

Besides the perfomance at the end, i think Sentaro's backstory was my favorite part of this episode. This is getting ridiculous, now you're telling me Yurika likes Jun? | Junichi is such a smooth guy. Too bad for Sentaro, Yurika seems to have taken quite a liking to the man. A true fateful encounter, I guess. A superb episode music-wise as well, the live was particularly enjoyable. |
| Damn, so many things happened and it suddenly turned a bit more serious. Fantastic and sad backstory on Sentarou. Jun could actually sing really well, was kinda surprised by that. Yurika already falling in love with Jun despite having Sentarou ... Didnt think Kaoru would already go in for the kiss with Ritsuko though, neither did she. The music segment was fantastic, loved it ... silly American drunk though, ruining it like that. |

| "Sometimes life is like jazz" - I love this quote. I guess it really fits this episode. I mean, who would have thought Junichi and Yurika met and fell for each other at the Jazz Quartet's first live session? But yeah, I can't blame her. Junichi's performance was so good. He was able to save the situation with the angry drunk man and sang like an angel. Oh and his English is amazing. Well Kaoru really moves fast with Ricchan. Sentarou is still (a bit) shy when it comes to girls and his backstory was rough, I feel for him. Ricchan has her own problems I guess. Can't believe Sentarou and the others are still 15/16 though! |

No matter how much I like Sentarou, he just seems a bit too rough for her. So, Jazz is used as an analogy for how unpredictable life can be, huh? Seems legit to me and it gives the show a nice touch. Accurately phrased; I totally agree. |
| Jun ni snatches Sentaro's crush like that... Sentaro's backstory made me a bit teary... and Bon realizing that he had been wrong was well directed as well. The Jazz overall felt pretty good for anime. |

| I didn't except Kaoru to directly kiss Ritsuko like that but it was still pretty good, the highlight of this episode was definitely Sentarou's backstory which is just really hard to watch for them but which was absolutely well-made, that bit of jazz play on the scene was also interesting, and that "speed" competition between Ritsuko and Sentarou too, nice episode. |

| A cool look into Kaoru kind of coming to grips with himself. Fwiw, I love jazz very much, but as a guitar player, I'm not too experienced with playing it, and I'm not looking to get into a combo anytime soon. Maybe one day, I will, though, right? |

| Oh yes another live session, I'm loving the jazz they deliver so far and it's one of the most chilli- Kaoru what happened? why did you stop, it was going well :c. I sure feel bad for Kaoru being all alone while playing with his piano, man I'd be watching him instead of having a conversation with some other people to enjoy every of his movement to play this piece! Ritsuko and Kaoru's relationship definitely escalated really quickly and the romance ambience between each other is gradually showing =) Aa it's great to see the snow just started sprouting everywhere and viola, you have a gentle, sweet and soft kiss from your ikemen Kaoru during Christmas :3! Honestly I feel bad for Kaoru, having such a rich family but the way their family treats him just ruin his own reputation :c Now I feel bad for Sentarou, damn he's very aggressive but honestly his present is a lot more scarier and it does make sense when back to the episode when Ritsuko state about his loneliness and without Kaoru, he don't have a place in the society :c. First time on the stage :O? Also that english fluency was perfecto! And it's very interesting Jun and Yurika have some interesting chemistry :o Omg Jun SINGING IS TOTAL ADMIRATION AND HIS VOICE IS SO AS SMOOTH AS A BUTTER, and oo I see some chemistry between Jun and Yurika |
