A little about me:
- Name: Mark
- Age: 18
- Hobbies: Listening to/playing music (guitar and keys), watching/discussing anime (don't do as much watching as I would like to), playing video games every now and then
- Favorite genres of music: rock (60s to 80s), jazz, hip-hop
- Profile picture is Terry Kath from Chicago.
- Apparently, I'm an INTP-T, but I'm not sure how true to my personality that actually is.
A few...
- Likes: pizza - music - anime - being alone - junk food - mustard - Coca-Cola
- Dislikes: studying - getting up early - mayo - pickles - (most) cooked vegetables - exercise - dramatic irony
List Notes:
- Ratings are sort of a mix of quality and enjoyment. I'll hopefully be able to refine the system someday.
- If you're wondering why my ratings are pretty low compared to most other "new" anime fans, I just haven't come across many anime/manga I believe are 8 or higher.
- I usually watch dub but am not above watching sub also.
Plan to Rewatch:
- Afro Samurai
- Angel Beats!
- Banana Fish
- Black Lagoon (both seasons)
- Cowboy Bebop
- Golden Boy
- Great Pretender

Yeah, I usually sample the dub of a show I plan to watch to see if it's good. I've watched a good chunk (say about 40%) of the titles on my anime list dubbed.
I get that, part 5 was overall my least favorite so far tbh. Still looking forward to watching part 6 though
I remember really liking Angel Beats as well, one of the first shows I ever watched actually. If you liked the general concept and want to see it done in a very different & more artsy sort of way, then I recommend maybe giving Haibane Renmei a try at some point. (Needless to say it's very much my favorite of the two, but they're both still great shows of course)
lmao, i changed it because the white background was throwing me off with the dark mode extension i have on mal rn, plus this one matches my new forum avatar cause im on a banG dream craze
I didn't enjoy the story or the characters whatsoever. I'm in the very large minority but I thought it was trying too hard to be "deep" and "relatable" but I wasn't a fan of how everything was done. The main reason I completed it was just due to popularity and it's high rating
I thought the art was nice and I get why people like it though. Just wasn't my thing personally
Hey there, I've seen you around on a few dub discussion threads and you seem to have a pretty good idea of what a solid dub should sound like. How does the Beastars dub hold up? I haven't watched the show myself but I was considering adding it to a stack I've made based on what I've heard of the dub.

Cool cool cool
I've been reading One piece and I can confidently say that it is one of the manga of all time
Oh, it's that good, huh? I added it to one of my stacks. In fact, I'd like you to have a look at them -
