Vinland Saga
| Yupp what we've all been waiting and hoping for is finally coming and it's being done by a fairly competent studio as well. WIT studios worked on Attack on Titan and most recently "The Ancient Magus' Bride" I predict that they will animate it up to the point of the time skip which could easily fit into a 12-13 episode season if they adapt 4 chapters per episode. | I wonder how far they're adapting, hopefully till the timeskip would be good depending on its length. I wouldnt mind a full adaptation either, but that seems less than likely. |

They have proven with AoT, Kabenari, and Magus Bride that they know what they are doing when it comes to visuals. Though what really solidified my confidence in them is actually this season's After the Rain. |
| well, to be fair, you cant never be sure of how things are gonna turn, but cant simply see how a Vinland saga adaptation could go wrong considering it´s WIT. If Sawano and Araki are add to the staff, it will have great chances of being one of the most important anime this decade. |

| Expected this to happen someday, it's one of those mangas well deserving an anime adaptation. I'm trusting Wit Studio on this one, they've made great work with AoT in the past (I would also mention Ancient Magus Bride, but I still need to finish that one). I guess it's going to cover the "Prologue" part, Farmland Saga is probably reserved for a 2nd season if it's doing well - and a 3rd season if the manga gets enough material for that. |

| I really hope this goes well they have done a great job with most anime they have been given. I just got into Vinland Saga and I was just thinking it would be awesome to see WIT adapt this just a few days ago. Never thought it ever would get an anime adaptation. Just please please...... don't let this manga of all manga be a major screwup but at the same time I can't really say if there is a studio out there that could be more trusted with this IP. |

| i haven't read the manga, but it looks really cool, need to get my ass on it now though. also, wit is animating this, you guys don't have to worry about overused cgi, i was scared if this were to get an anime adaptation polygon pictures or someone would be animating it. |

| I have heard great things about Vinland Saga, specially from Berserk readers, I'm now hesitant to start reading the manga or not lol, maybe I'll wait because I usually like to feel a new story in anime and go later to the source material |

Regardless I didn't think that we would see the anime for Vinland Saga but here it is. I hope that they animate it till the end of the "PROLOGUE". What comes after is well not for me to judge as I aren't catch up with the series but as long as they animate the entire prologue in good faith to the source material this will be absolute greatness. |

I hope so too. The prologue has lots of great, exciting action that I'm sure a lot of people will love, but the farming arc is what really brought the story to greatness because of the way it reshapes the protagonist's entire mindset and forces him to confront all his past actions of the 1st arc. |

| This was the first manga I ever downloaded, accidentally, when I was looking for booklet scans of the Leaves' Eyes album Vinland Saga. I still haven't read it yet. |

I've been reading this for the past month and I'm now at chapter 101. now adapting 4 chapters into one episode is too unrealistic because this manga is released monthly, so the chapters are longer than weekly released manga. I think that an episode can take 2-2.5-3 chapters and it would be crammed, I remember the first chapter of the series was 90 pages alone so that's almost 3 chapters. I'm glad it is WIT Studio because they are quite good at what they do, unlike other studios whose quality or budget is just not good enough and always have to have junky animation in alot of scenes especially when the characters are standing far away, or the characters just don't seem to fit in with the background. But WIT Studio has none of these issues and maintains high quality animation so there's nothing to worry about. It Would be nice to have Tetsuro Araki working on this , but we still don't know so... The biggest thing I think is challenging is picking the right voice actors whose voices actually fits the characters perfectly. So,we'll see what'll happen I guess. your right I forgot all about the chapter length.... it could get really messy trying to cram 54 30+ page chapters in 1 cor...hopefully its a 2 cor |
