I haven't started watching it yet. (Only saw the MAL page.) It's always interesting to find anime I've never heard of on people's favorites. Kaiji is another I want to see. I'm 30 episodes into Gintama. (That one will take forever to finish.)

It's still cool to see him wearing headphones. Found it when I was looking for pics of Higurashi characters wearing headphones.

I think I discovered Silver Fang thanks to you. The premise reminds me of Wolf's Rain.

Dunno if you know the Umineko VN. I haven't played it yet, but I've heard the soundtracks and think some of the songs are much better than the anime versions. Here's an example.

I've watched some of the VN on YouTube. Hoping Sui will be released with at least English subtitles someday. The promo videos blew my mind. Haven't read the manga yet.

I don't like having to quantify things in this case. It's so subjective that I find it pointless. There are plenty of crappy anime I still love for various reasons. Rating them highly would be misleading but giving them a low score would also make me feel bad when I actually thought it was a fun experience. I like to enjoy an anime for what it is without feeling the need to judge it and then have my judgments judged by others who see my scores. So basically, I watch for my own enjoyment, and having to analyze it to the point of scoring it would make me enjoy it less. Thinking so much about all that stresses me out. I still like talking about anime, of course.
