Short about the figures: Some were bought impulsive. The Yuuko figure was the only one available of her. Wanted to own it despite not being exactly what I wanted(bikini figures are a big minus, way too revealing). Although both the Senjougahara and Yuuko figures were relatively cheap. The Hana figure was bought on impulse, despite being expensive. Although I don't mind it, it's still "the" figure which is most questionable. Enel (One Piece) is my current favorite.
I rate based upon what the anime/manga tries to achieve. I don't actively seek out something that I shouldn't expect in the first place. If a anime receives a 10, then it managed to please me for what it is. Although my overall rating is a lot higher than it should be. I would probably place most of the shows I've watched with a worse score after a re-watch. So unless it's on my favorite list, the rating might not reflect my true feelings for the show.
I will try to accurately rank according to the MAL criteria.

Also, Shonen, Seinen, Josei etc are not a genre, but demographic audience.
Thnx Akira is one of the greatest anime movies I've ever seen not to mention it's a big part of anime history

One of the most impressive facts about Akira is that its animation was so ahead of its time that 50 unique colors were created out of the 327 that were used – a record, by the way – just for its production. Most of the film takes place at night or in dark settings and called for the use of 2,212 shots and 160,000 single pictures, which is more than double the usual amount of animated films of that length.
I haven't updated my manga list since a long time and since too many people were recommending a lot of manga to me and get mad when I don't read what they suggested, I decided to keep it private.
anyways, it doesn't really matter because my manga list is kind of dead now, though I'll probably make it public once I get more into manga or when some annoying people disappear from my life lol.
I'd known that Akira was based on a manga, but I hadn't known it was a manga of that sort've length! Tbh, it doesn't surprise me as in hindisght parts of the film do feel very condensed (almost like they're rushing to get through everything in time). Cheers for the suggestion.
Texhnolyze is...unique. I almost want to call it like a barebones show haha. It doesn't cater to the viewer at all, but that is part of what makes it so cool. I think it's worth watching just for how different it is.
I think it is one of the best anime I have ever watched in terms of quality alone. However, it will be a while before I decide to rewatch it, and I am a very frequent rewatcher of things lol.
I can't figure out how to describe it...I guess "heavy" is the best word? Anyway, I think you should watch it! And if/when you do, let me know what you think :)
Thank you! I am not one to drop something, unless it is absolutely unbearably bad (I have encountered nothing like that so far). I will watch Higurashi sometime :)
