I have lost interest in both anime/manga lately, so replying will take time.
My main interests lies in the comedy, historical, action, slice of life, martial arts and psychological genres, though I am open for every type of genre as long as it is not too generic (unless it is well executed). What I also often like to see in anime are fantasy settings with/or big amounts of action, which often movies/TV series are not capable of transmitting to the audience in a convincing way due to budget/technological limitations, the reason why I have shonens such as One Piece or Hunter x Hunter in high esteem. Hence I believe anime to have the biggest potential in such settings, and is the main reason I began watching/reading anime/manga. Nevertheless, as proven in many cases, anime is capable of presenting nearly every type of genre very well.
I personally think that the final score of a work depends on your overall enjoyment, being the story, characters and art style mere contributers to your overall rating of a series. Nevertheless, I tend to analyze those aspect seperately, which will lead to my final score, being enjoyment one of the heaviest weighing factor in the score, followed by story/characters and sound/art. I take the type of genre also into account, as for example comedy shows can't really be compared with psychological shows. I also believe that scores below 2 would mean that the show failed miserably in every single aspect: only if a show was truly unwatchable, felt offensive, or was downright disgusting, I would give it the lowest rating one. I might also want to add that some genres don't interest me anymore (i.e. school setting type of anime), so the scores from previous anime may have been rated higher than the current ones.
On friend requests: I prefer having a little chat before accepting friend requests. Feel free to recommend any anime/manga, or just have a conversation for the matter.
Feedback on my reviews is always appreciated, as I seek to improve my writing skills, so don't hesitate on commenting on them, be it negative or positive. Readers of my reviews may have noticed that most scores are above average, and this is mainly beacause I only watch anime that interests me, unless some users recommended me one. Oh, and if you're fed up by mainstream anime, maybe it's time to watch Texhnolyze.

I don't understand why you gave it a 4(I assume you have a different rating method than mine...7 is my Ok~good scoring), but regardless of that you did a great job
