Pretty tense morning. A lot of competition arriving. I remember Kazusa showed up. I really hope the club can prove everyone how much they've improved. |

I forgot to check the update prior to the broadcast, but Miyu-Miyu voicing the teacher for Aoi-san's character's school. Touyama-san's character forcing koto girl's mother, even that old lady, to listen to the competition. Competition begins next ep. |

| Qualifiers time. Looking forward to some great performances. It was cute that Satowa made charms for the group. Mio is an interesting character. |

| And its finally time for the qualifiers then. Hiro's crush on Takezou though sure provides plenty of cute moments like her wait for him. Its nice to see Kazusa again after so long. The charms made by Houzuki though sure were thoughtful of her. If anything the qualifiers present an excellent opportunity to allow the team to see how much their rivals have improved since that time. Though kinda disrespectful to Hozuki's mother its nice to see Akira take some firm action in her attempts to mend relations between Houzuki and her mom. A relatively calm ep that nonetheless managed to set up the lead up to the qualifiers pretty well by showing the hidden feelings and desires of the team and the various schools and pairing it with the shimmering tension that each school emits as they charge forward. Looking forward to seeing Himesaka's performance next ep. |

| Great episode. Loved the scene where Satowa handed out the good luck charms and Chika's reaction to it. Akira ftw, I love how she just dragged Satowa's mother and her grandmother to the performance. These last few episodes are gonna be very satisfying. |

| A great episode with lots of good and different stuff. Emotional scene with the old lady and Chika. Fun to see the teacher staying calm and chilled. (Remind of Yang Wenli ha ha.) Then Akira getting the grand master and the grand mother and driving them there. Oh and not to forget the magazine journalist/reporter guys. I guess the other guy that talked to the Takinami is the composer of that school. (And he probably knew Takinami is the son of some renowned musicians and experienced at composing music as well.) |

This, I'm pretty sure I laughed more than what would've been appropriate. xD At the same time, I can totally relate to her feeling fed up with stupid arbitrary shackles. The charms though - not only the fact that Satowa made them, but the way Chika just went to grab the box. And then she was red as a well cooked lobster, and he wa completely speechless. Also his scene with old lady Nishina, that was way too emotional. However, someone please tell Mio that he can't photosynthesise lying in shade. The very essence of that is sunlight, it doesn't work without that. (I mean, it doesn't work without chlorophyll either, but let's get at least one of them right?) |

| The competition didn't even start yet, but the emotions were high and I smiled and/or teared up the whole time. Takezou's mother is so nice. She saw how hard her son was trying, and she, in turn, is trying her best to support him. Even his brother, who is still kind of a jerk, supported him in a way. And it was great that Kurusu went there so they could go together. Houzuki making charms for everyone, even Takinami-sensei, who is already part of the team, was so precious and cute! No wonder Kudou got so happy that he couldn't say anything. I wonder if there's one for Akira too, because she is being the best again. I can't believe she kidnapped Houzuki's mother, and her own grandmother, to make them listen to their performance. That was really cool. xD I mean, I get Houzuki's mother, and why she feels she doesn't have the right to be there, but I also get Akira for being fed up with all of those shackles. Poor Tetsuki for being kidnapped by Kudou's aunt too by the way. lol Oh, and the granny! Not being able to play for his grandfather still hurts Kudou, but he is happy that she is there for him, and that's so beautiful and wholesome that I don't have words. Here's hoping everyone will be there to listen to them. And I like how Himesaka, and Hakuto were shown to have a lot of support, and even reasons to win, besides winning for the sake of winning/being the best, too. I love Mio's advisor, he feels so young and full of life. But that phrase the girl didn't get to finish... I wonder if he is seriously ill? And I also wonder who is their personal composer. Maybe Mio himself using another name or something? Welp, I feel for Himesaka, but I think they will end up on third place. As someone who practiced a lot, but is still going to make a mistake for being too nervous. I doubt it's going to happen to Mio, he seems really calm. And I don't want to believe it's going to happen with our own Tokise, so... I can't wait! |

| Everyone is gearing-up to the competition wherein all is aiming for Nationals! but only 1 would reign supreme and no rankings at least? The judges will need to be very critical in their decisions! LOLZ Akira forced old hag and scum mother of Satowa to watch the competition...hahah i hope the 2 would change their impression of the Koto Club... 4/5. |

| Akira is relly getting better and better each episode.l She has a relly good chemistri with Takinami-sensei by the way. I hope mangaka will consider it. A lot of great scenes for introductory episode. Let's hope they won't mess up the competition itself. |

| Time for the national qualifiers, to which Takezou has come this far, ONE MORE TIME for his final showdown. Hope his family comes to see it, especially his brother Takeru who has ridiculed his passion in Season 1. Along with everyone else who've been waiting for this moment. Some happy, some anticipating, and for the many, nervous. Previous schools in Season 1 come back to win the favour this time, FOR THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE WINNER. Challenge accepted, FOR THERE CAN BE NO FAILURES. Even though Akira has acknowledged that she can no longer stand in between the affairs of Hozuki and their mum and grandmother, robbing them in daylight and forcing them to go watch the Nationals was an eye-opener, without any prejudice. That was a sweet, sweet moment of frustration. Himesaka Girls' School, they failed out of surprise the last time at the Kanto Music Festival to Hakuto School, and now they're the first to go to redeem what they've lost their champion position to. Competition is heating up as we count towards the final 4 episodes! |

| I didn't like Akira at first but in this episode and the last one my respect for her skyrocketed. She could just do nothing and live her life. But she's trying to fix things. That's pretty admirable. |

| It's insane how much i've grown to like Akira; she just gave zero fucks and kidnapped the grand master of the koto school haha I'm also super fond of Mio and his sweet and eccentric personality! That part where Chika got so emotional over Hozuki making him a charm was so adorable.... can they just be a couple NOW PLEASE?! |

| Akira won so many good points in one single scene. Nice to know I'm not the only one who have had enough of Satowa's mother's bullshit. So there are 14 schools but only one will classify, uh? Competition sure will be tough this way but let's hope Tokise can give a satisfactory performance. Decent build-up (and wholesome) episode overall. |

| I'm not ready for this. I really hope they will give us the result this time. The preliminaries are looking exciting, although sadly Meiryo won't play. Also I wonder what's happening between Kanzaki and their supervisor. This episode made it seem like an important part of the story. |
