It was amazing! So far it's a bit more music focused than Kono oto Tomare, having 2 or so music pieces per episode. Honestly the shamisen is as mesmerizing as the koto! The characters are very interesting too and by ep 2 the story feels like it's just beginning. Fully recommend you try it out!

Yeah it's monthly unfortunately. However, the chapters are usually really long (50-ish pages) so compared to other monhly manga you have way more material available/month. I was also hesitant to read the manga since I didn't know how a music anime would translate to a sound-less format, but the mangaka does such a great job in describing sounds and feelings that I barely noticed there was no music playing

That is nice to hear.

Here things are good, just busy with the last things for school and then working in my vacation. Besides that I'm pretty relaxed and trying my hardest to stay safe from the virus. :)
