| Its crazy how Imaishi is leagues above everyone else at Trigger. This level of story telling is absurd yet cohesive, fun and intelligent. Crazy how a simple 7 minute series for 13 episode can tell so much where as 2 cour series struggle to do the same. |

Ten or twenty years down the road, Luluco will probably remember her infatuation with Nova-kun as nothing but a shallow crush that was mostly based on the boy's good looks, but it doesn't negate the fact that at this very point in time it's a crush that she considers important to her: teenage love is truly invincible because of how dumb and over the top it is (butterflies in belly, rainbows and big bangs everywhere etc.). Looking back on it, you may laugh at how much of a fool your middle/high school self looked like, but those will still be fond memories of your time as a teenager that won't go away.I miss last week's moral about love now that they're on the usual trend of "teenies love is invincible". Plus, Inferno Cop said it best: the confession's what matters, the rest is just bonus. |
