| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, I guess life is back to normal somewhat even though I feel like there's an unsettling vibe. It seems one of Satou's friend Shoko may be ware of her true nature although she still sees a good side of her. Meanwhile, Satou and Shio are still very close now that they are back together. Again, I noticed how the male characters in the series are such creeps, even the adults. That finger scene looked brutal. |

| I quite liked this episode. Nice to see more of Asahi and his relationship with his mom and Shio. Also, this episode flew by so it was paced very well too. |

| Shoko seems like someone who would easily get advantage of by her friends. Though, I doubt Satou would trust her enough to actually let her know everything without getting something on her. This show is doing such a great job at suspense. |

| I have to say, I wasn’t very much impressed by the previous two episodes... As, they really left me feeling like everything was stagnating, and there was no real progression to the story, anymore. This episode was admittedly a little bit better. But, where it began to become somewhat interesting again, it also still carried with it an unsettling undercurrent of uneasiness, which turned me off. Watching the episode, I’d begun thinking that Shoko probably should’ve been the main focused character, all along. Though, in thinking about it, I realized that that might have undermined what initially drew me to the series in the first place, between Satou’s psychosis and her having kidnapped little Shio. Then, learning more about Asahi, was really interesting; Finally establishing that that was indeed his mother, and not a babysitter or whatever, which also finally showed their exchanging of ‘vows’ for actually being just an expression of love and caring for family, as opposed to the twisted nature Satou has turned it into. But, as soon as Daddy Dearest began torturing Asahi, I tuned out of all of that intriguing business again, and just felt bad. I wasn’t engaged or enjoying it anymore, at that point. So, it was still kinda ‘meh’. |

| I just want to point out how scary Satou's eyes were at that last scene. Those are the eyes of someone who wants to get rid of you but doesn't want you to realise it. |

| Interesting to have an episode primarily focused on Shoko, given that she so far is the one sane person in the entire series. It was also interesting to use her as way to get Asahi's story and learn more about that family situation (an interesting stylistic choice to make the father look like a monster except for when he touched Asahi and when he was dead), but what the hell had happened at the end of the flashback with the mother saying "it's too late"? Also, Shoko is going to seriously regret prying into Satou's life, based on that glare of hers at the end. Satou is also going to do something terrible to Mitsuboshi, by the looks of it. Interesting to see where it all goes next week. |

| Satou-chan going to Mitsuboshi's house and trying to lure him out with promises of seeing Shio-chan. I wonder if his mom ever went inside his mom and saw all the missing posters of Shio-chan? I'm sorta shipping Shoko and Asahi but I think Asahi is much younger than her. We got to see a bit of Asahi's father, he has the same hairstyle as his dad. Glad the alcoholic and abusive motherfucker died. And Satou-chan will be shookt when she finds out their 'nightly vows' are not exclusive to just her and Shio. It's a family thing between Shio, her mom and her brother. That crazy look in Satou's eyes at the end when she invited Shoko to her house and the crazy stalker teacher is also there. |

| I personally don't think she is going to kill her best friend. So far she hasn't killed / harmed anyone she has liked. I think it's possible that she'll be kidnapped herself, but not sure how that'll go down with the Loli being in the same house :/ The bloody / locked room could be used to keep her tied up in there. But one thing is for sure, if she enters that house, it's probable she's not leaving, or if she is, it's going to be in a bag |

| The Kobes' backstory should be a bit more compelling, at this point it makes sense but is a bit dull. Last two weeks were quite good actually, I'm impressed. |
| Dat nail scene tho... I won't be able to cut my nails for awhile ;_; But srsly, I'm really loving this anime but I feel I'm losing my humanity little by little with each episode lol It's been years since I haven't check an anime's source material/spoiler because I'm curious about the next episode. If the ending'll be my liking, I can see a 10/10 incoming. |

| I like their stylistic choice to depict his father as some kind of monster. The father resembled human only when he died. This is quite accurate if you think about it. Kids from alcoholic families view their parents just like this. Shoko is going to be in a real trouble. Maybe she will stay loyal to Satou? I can see this. | Shoto, I don’t think confrontation was the right course of action. My mother always use to say, if you don’t want the answer, don’t ask the question. Poor Asahi has the most miserable luck in the world. I wouldn’t blame him if he curled into a little ball and started screaming uncontrollably. As for that Pervert Teacher, I hope Saito deals with him sooner rather than later. I’ve got a feeling things are about to spin out of control. |

That nail scene legit made me cringe super hard. I had something similar when I was messing with my locker and it wasn't a fun experience. Seems like Asahi and Shio's mother went insane too based on what Shio sees and what Asahi came to. I feel like the mother lost Shio and then that's when things go to Satou. I don't know what's about to happen to Shoko, but I hope she survives this. The shift in narrative is so refreshing. We're now seeing things through the eyes of Shoko so it made the repetitiveness stop. |
| The nail scene was gross. Finally, we know Asahi's past. At least his dad is dead. Satou and Shoko talk was nice. Shio told her about Mitsuboshi mmmm. Pervert teacher suspects of Satou. Death flag for Shoko. |

| Asahi's mother is another piece of shit. How could she leave her kid unprotected for so long while running away? Poor Asahi, the flashbacks were so disturbing :( Thank god his dad died tho. Damn is that a death flag for Shoko? I like her, not only is she the most normal character of the bunch but she is also struggling and trying to get close to Satou. I really hope she survives this but the chances are slim. |

| The backstory appears. I'll admit, I got queasy at the nail ripping but um, can you really tear nails out with your bare fingers? HM. I still want to know what happened between Shio and her mother at the very least. Abuse is contagious in this show as well as toxicity. Like real life, guess the most daunting thing is how it drip feeds onto everybody. Now she's getting her friend involved. I'm expecting interesting results? |
