| Could see some semblance to Madoka, definitely. The OP might be OP of the season for me, not very memorable, but had a nice feel to it, and soft. Too bad it's wasted on this show. |

| Mahou Shoujo of this season! Well, it doesn't seem like one at first so I was bit surprised when that happened. I wonder if they returns to their normal world after the threat is dealt with. So far, it look pretty standard and I would certainly do without those mascots. But inclusion of disabled girl seems interesting. And it seems they have bit different approach than Gen`ei o Kakeru Taiyou that tried to copy Madoka. I hope it gets better than that but it all depends on what mechanisms of threat they are going to use. I am pretty interested just now and will watch at least next part to know what this is about. |

| ah, a mahou shoujo show. i didnt expect that. ^^ nice colors/graphics in this other world. the phones are stupid … i like it, that one character is not so perfect and sits in a wheelchair. sometimes people need to know, that there are not only heros and beautiful people in this world. i dont expect another Madoka here. it doesnt look so dark. i thinks its more a show around friendship and heroism for girls without deep psychological stuff. ^^ |

| Holy shit I did not see the magical girl shit coming; I thought it was going to be slice of life. Holy shit I cringed so much and screamed so much at their transformations. of course the titular heroine can become invulnerable to explosive rounds being fired at them by punching/kicking them of course the enemy charges the explosive round long enough for Yuuna to make her speech of course titular heroine is saying all the typical hero shit fucking hated the ED song at first, after listening to it again I hate it less 2/5 might drop after listening for OP I'll keep watching hoping for Madoka Magica darkness. |

| Thought I marathon this since it'll be ending in one week. Interesting/promising start (just realized Seiji Kishi is directing this,might be the reason I didn't start this at the beginning of the season.Either way hope it won't end up like any of his previous anime). Yuuna's mahou shoujo design is my favorite out of all the girls. CGI is more noticeable at times (fight scenes) but honestly ain't that bad. YUUSHA PUNCH!!! |
| Interesting start, so another Madoka Magica type series? I only have sympathy for Togo and a little bit for the little, blonde girl. The other two were pretty weird and unlogical in their actions which annoyed me at some point (why wouldn't you even tell a fkin girl in a wheelchair what is awaiting them? And why would you just take it so easily like Yuna?) |
| I dont really get why people think this is similair to madoka magica-.- The setting, execution, charatcer attidude, pacing, arstyle and overall maturity was completly different. the only thing they have in comming is the colors of the outfits and that both have a mahou shojo aspect. Even though in Madoka i think it is so small that i dont even call it a mahou shojo anime. IF madoka where presented like Yuuki Yuuna I would understand people say that its a mahou shojo, since Yuuki seems like the perfect example for a darker mahou shojo. |

Because out of that they share nothing and are almost the opposite of each other on episode 1 True true, Madoka Magica got straight to the point, while Yuuki Yunna is more lighthearted. There's still just the tiny stuff that Madoka Magica fans spot that just brings back memories. |

| -just finished watching the english dub version out of curiosity. since i'm still studying japanese, i tend to favor the subs but sometimes dubs can be better. overall dub in yuuki yuuna is watchable. -dub: 1. prefer english yuuna's voice cuz the sub sounds a bit childish 2. significant moe reduction in itsuki & tougou 3. fuu (voiced by erika mendez) is acceptable but sub is much more intense (especially the screams) ------------------- 9/10 for ep1 dub |
| I don't know what I was expecting, but this was definitely not it. Such a good first episode! And I'm not actually getting all this "Madoka vibes", because, surprise, different shows. Only thing I didn't like was the transformation music, eh. Could've been much more epic. |

| I'd have to say it has an interesting premise. No wonder people are recommending it a lot with Madoka Magika. It looked very similar. Art style, characters, and even story line. Although I don't mind to watch a Madoka clone, because that anime is a goddamn masterpiece. So we have Madoka (pink, leader) and Yuuna (red, leader). Then we have Homura (Madoka's best friend) and Mimori who looked almost alike (Yuuna's best friend, who also cried for Yuuna as Homura cried to Madoka). Then we have Mami (yellow, recruiter) and Fuu (yellow, the recruiter). Let's see if it's gonna have a good twist like Madoka. |

| Transforming into Magical Girls with the help on an App!!! Gimme a Break. I mean look at those two girls, they are in this new world and turning into magical girls for the first time and after transforming no one seems to be shocked. Hero,Hero,Hero is that all Yuki Yuuna has in her mind ? It was not a bad episode but it had some flaws in it. Comparing this with Madoka is a too early. Madoka was on a whole other level. |

| The characters are cute -- though I agree Itsuki's transformation was annoying lol -- and it looks really beautiful, but truly this episode didn't really grab or impress me. There seemed to be a lot of standing around making confused noises lol and some of the dialogue just seemed a little pointless. idk. I'll keep watching it anyway and see if it picks up. |

| This was a good start. I like the design of the place where they fight the Vertex. The Vertex remind me a bit of the NOVA or the beings from Rahxephon. The obligatory comparisons to Madoka. Well, I'm not surprised. |

| Very good 1st episode Now we just need Mimori to have find the courage to also want to become a hero. Not easy to when you are paralyzed and in a wheelchair. I definitely want to watch more. |

| Rewatching the series after loving the Washio Sumi prequel triology (anyone who reads this, watch them after finishing this anime!) Super fun first half followed by solid action against a Vertex in the second, I love the art style and music of this anime so much. |

| First rewatch in years, and I'm still mindblown what a good anime it is. No matter how bad the sequels(s) are or gonna be, this is a 10/10 for me. The art of first episode. Within just 24 minutes, this series managed to foreshadow the ending, make some decent wordbuilding, introduce 4 characters with distinct personalities and even make it in time to give them character development. That's more than some anime can manage in 12. Also the heavy atmosphere so atypical of power rangers genre and studio gokumi's unique art made it that much better. |
| How dumb is she? Who stands around spacing out making a phone call while a giant monster is throwing Dragon Ball bombs at you? Anyway, the premise is pretty interesting and unique (for isekai and mahou shoujo anime), but the "main" characters, who look like and have the personalities of background characters, are so bland to me that it took me years to finishing this first episode. Those first 10 or so minutes in the school were some of the most boring and painful 10 minutes of anime I've watched. |
