Dislikes: ALL ECCHI ANIME, bad words, cursing, discrimination, having my picture taken without permission, stupid people, ignorant people who always bully/judge people for being who they are, rap music, loud noise, people yelling, bossy people, haters, social justice warriors, Tumblr.

Hi! Finished reading your Bloom Into You review, and...I actually agree with your assessment. I enjoyed reading and watching it, but ultimately it's not something I will remember for years to come. It was too safely played for its own good, though this aspect probably makes it a good entry point for people who are new to yuri. It feels too polished and squeaky-clean, too sterile, even though I usually tend to dislike stories which needlessly wallow in suffering and misery of its characters. What bugs me, albeit very mildly, is the fact that people praise it to the skies as if it's the best thing since sliced bread. Like, I know am an anomaly because I've been reading yuri for over 17 years, but it feels as if even a lot of people who read and review yuri on a consistent basis have memory of a goldfish and can't or refuse to compare BiY to its peers and predecessors.

I apologize for the random message, but great review of Troprical-Rouge! I don't get why the fanbase defends this season so much, but honestly I believe the fans watch Bizarro World versions of PreCure because every season I like (from Suite onwards) is hated and every season I dislike is loved. Makes it hard being able to talk to someone about PreCure!

Yeah, it seemed like underserved hate honestly. And yeah there are so many more series that deserve a 2 out of 10. While it might not be perfect you can see the passion put into it. I personally like both about the same since for me all I really wanted was to see the world animated. I would be much more critical if it got an actual adaptation instead of shorts.

Nice The Girl From the Other Side review it pretty much fits my thoughts for it. It is insane to me that the only review I had viewed was some person giving it a 2 out of 10. I mean sure it deviates from the OG source but it is still breathtaking visually and the atmosphere is spot on. I kind of view it as maybe a side story/alternate setting to the manga. Just a way to see the world animated. I still wish for an actual tv adaptation sometimes but hey what can you do. Sometimes amazing things like this only get a short movie.
