I haven’t finished it yet, but it’s already hitting me so hard emotionally (´；ω；｀)♡ you’re completely right, the atmosphere and emotional depth are on another level. even just a few episodes in, you can feel how raw and real everything is — I’m both excited and scared to see where it goes, haha.

and ahh I really appreciate the GL recs! I haven’t heard of Geu Yeoreum before, but now I’m super curious — even if the translation’s a bit rough, I love strong emotional storytelling (˶˃ᴗ˂˶) Aoi Hana has been sitting on my list for ages too, so it’s great to hear it’s worth finishing through the manga!

please share more if you have other GL or emotional recs like Nana! I seem to have a weakness for stories that tug at the heartstrings even when they hurt (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄)

I did! I first watched Eien no Once More on my 15th birthday 4 years ago but decided to rewatch it and finally watch Long Goodbye since it was used for a lot of ~aesthetic~ GIFs online.
Creamy Mami is amazing and I love her design and all the characters in it so much, especially Megumi and the development of Yuu and Toshio.

LOL the one I'm thinking of is with Momoko? She was like showing pictures of her best friend in the US to her Japanese classmates and there was a kerfuffle cause her best friend was black.

yea! I remember an episode in a later season even handled racism which?? First I've seen for a Japanese magical girl show. It's so good.

aw yea i'm watching it with my girlfriend!! We're both really liking it. We love all of em but my fav is Aiko and hers is Doremi. I'm excited for Onpu to be introduced :)
