Synopsis

Every little girl waits for the day she'll get her special ticket, one that will grant her entry into the world of PriPara (Prism Paradise). PriPara is a world of music, fashion, and daily auditions for a chance to become a pop idol. Laala Manaka's friends and classmates aspire to become idols, but her school forbids elementary school students from participating in the idol competitions.

Luckily, Laala is only interested in watching the idol shows. Yet somehow despite all this, she manages to bumble her way into the PriPara world, and debut as a fresh new talent. After being told all her life that she's too loud, Laala has finally found a place where she can be as loud as she wants and sing from her heart.

And not only that, but there's a possibility that she might be the legendary Prism Voice. Adventure, fashion, and music awaits as Laala climbs her way to the top, on her way to become the cutest and most beloved pop idol in the world of PriPara!

I watched tons of idol themed anime, and PriPara will hold a very special place in my heart after finishing it.

While the show/theme is aimed at a younger audience of girls, this anime shows genius jokes.
I myself don't perfectly speak Japanese, but I do understand enough to watch this show without subtitles. The show doesn't take itself completely serious, and this is what makes it that great!

I for myself love the plot with the main theme of 'friendship', the cute style and the incredible characters. The music might be repetitive to some people, but I loved listening to the great songs on the end read more

[TW: Gender Dysphoria, possibly. It's fairly minor.]

Considering this is one of my favorite animes, it made me really sad to see that it had no reviews! So without further ado, lets get started!

I'm not very familiar with idol animes to be quite frank. I have a decent grasp of knowledge and information about other series, but they are never really something that really captured me. That is, with the exclusion of Pripara.

Story [5/10]
Pripara reminds me quite a bit of a magical girl show. Main character has amazing power, must keep her identity secret from those in her daily life or face repercussions, cute overly read more

the characters are so cute the songs are really catchy i have been a fan since summer when season 3 stared but i went from down to up which took me about 3-2 days to finish this is a very great animie

the characters are well done their performances are really good i have to agree the story for aikatsu is much better

but if i could judge in performances i would vote of pripara and the art style is really really good in my opinion

It's no secret that openings and endings were first concived as a way to make better animation and distribute the cost through the series, or that transformation sequences are repeated every episode for a similar reasson. If you want to be mean you could easily count the frames in almost every anime, mouth flaps rarely fit the dialogue and CGI allows you to hire less people. It's part of anime and those limits resulted in new styles that find a way to look particularly good thanks to them.

But there has to be a point where you had enough. It's no surprise that Pripara lasted so read more
