Discrimination and objectification are poison.

Hey! Thanks for the compliment; I've been meaning to watch Giant Robo, and your list just gives me another reason! I found your forum posts pretty thoughtful and entertaining, so I decided to shoot you off an fr!
Dw about it man it's going pretty good MAL just gives me mad nostalgia and I was looking through some friends' lists just for the sake of it and yours made me want to trim down mine and get rid of all the shitty ovas and porn to just showcase the bare minimum, really like your tags
You're arguing against psychology. A personality is psychologically defined by the clusters of traits and behavioral patterns you exhibit, so yes, literally everyone on planet earth, every species that can think and feel and emote and have individual traits can have a personality of their own, even babies. It's reified, sure, but it's psychology you're trying to argue against.
2. That accusation confuses me every time I hear it. If it's something like Another where the characters basically don't emote at all in any specific way, having "no personality" would basically mean that they have nothing about them that's consistent in any way or no standout traits that keep coming back, no sort of enthusiasm towards any particular topic, etc.
3. Regardless of a personality or not, the writer could still forget forget depth or proper development which are ultimately more important, and make it more like archetypes, this guy is energetic, this girl is a bitch etc. And I'm not talking actual character depth or whether the cast as a whole is good or not. I haven't seen Fairy Tail myself (only know it through my cousin and CodeBlazeFate) and won't make a position for it. BestGuyEver's video on it was pretty funny though.
