lol, wow the cockatoos are creepy. I imagine cats talking on the phone, then you cut to a dark phone booth where a sinister cockatoo spy is speaking cat!
Well sireebob, ain't that just the most spectacular idea... think about the nutritional value!
>[I wonder if they are full of..] I'll let you find out for yourself ehhaeheh..
You're right! There's zero background art for the most part... even in a cool lil panel!
I don't actually mind though.. manga calls for one man production, so it's reasonable. This way, Togashi conserves his energy for the important stuff...
Side note, I'm really interested in reading his Yuu☆Yuu☆Hakusho.
Now regarding the otaku business... lemme let you in on a little industry secret... It means I spend all my time deeply analyzing little Japanese comics while making zero profit. Business is booming.
Edit: forgot to mention I'm lovin Texhnolyze! The sound and visuals are totally cool.
>[that was fast lol, great pace] Thanks haha, I'm very dedicated. I try to read every chance I get, on the bus to school, on the bus home, during free periods in school, and after finishing my homework at home. All while reading it thoroughly.
Regarding Maruo Suehiro, they call him the master of erotic grotesque stories. Definitely check him out if his gross stories and awesome art style appeal to you. It's really dark though, some people I've talked to refer to some of his work as "misery porn." So be warned it's not for everyone. I like the opening surreal illustrations to DDT. Two of them are on display in my profile bio under "Show Manga Illustrations."
Here's one of his horror panels:
Ichijo_HikaruHDD says: "Ugh Junji Ito got nothing on those worms" XD I couldn't tell you how many worms were in that short story collection, more so for shock value than a fetish...
I probably got through a decent amount of HxH's anime like three times and then dropped it. That was more so when I wasn't really into the otaku business. This time around I'll read and commit to the manga, by the end of the year.
>[it's kinda funny how nobody gives a fuck about random people dying.. but you'll be imprisoned for gambling next to a serial killer..] LMAO.
Also looking into Maruo Suehiro's work a bit in between. I've finished a short story collection, as well as a one chap by him. [DDT] [The Dancing Dwarf]

I'm well myself, have you reading anything recently?
I'm more than halfway done reading Blade of the Immortal. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
