No i'm barely on Volume 3 of Blood on the Tracks. Seems to be a little more crime focused, but still it's like man, this guy loves characters that are so fucked up lol. I won't drop it but it might be until the end of the year until I finish it.

My favorite thing about Tsubasa are the main characters. I've always loved them, they are great.
The story itself starts straightforward but gets more "convoluted CLAMP multi-verse weirdness" the more it goes on.
I liked it overall but I know I didn't fully grasp everything.
This time I'm reading the official translation and I have already read more CLAMP stuff than before so I think i'll actually understand more of it.

I had a bit of a "meh" week when it comes to anime. Lots of mixed feelings, so I'm back to re-watching shows I already like. Decided to randomly re-watch Lovely Complex and I'm having a lot of fun.

I did watch a pretty good movie, though. It is part of the Minky Momo (Mahou Shoujo) series, but I read that the movie works as a standalone, so I gave it a go and really liked it.

A few others were fairly decent, but nothing mindblowing this week, except one seasonal show that is super short, but is already shaping up to be a favorite for me.

There's life before reading Kuso Miso and life after reading Kuso Miso and nothing else in between.
I was looking for the 1000 out of 10 rating but couldn't find it so I just left it unrated. 😂

Baš si me nasmijala s tim zadnjim komentarom. :D Ne sjećam se dal sam ti ikad objašnjavala, ali u Watching listi imam većinu stvari koje su "hitno za pogledati" - jer je Plan To Watch lista preduga. Ustvari nemam toliko stvari koje stvarno gledam, ahaha. ^^; Svi ovi na kojima sam pogledala samo ep 01 su za "hitno pogledati - kad nađem vremena". Pratim samo neke sezonske stvari i poneki sa strane zakašnjeli (kao Digimon Ghost Game). Battle Shounen Rewatchevi se gledaju puževim korakom, eh.

E sad, Reading lista je malo druga priča. Neki su isto "hitno za pročitati" jer je Plan To Read lista preduga. Neke stvarno čitam (puževim korakom). A neke sam bila stvarno čitala - dok su izlazili ali su predugo izlazili - pa sam ih prestala čitati i više se većine detalja ne sjećam, pa moram ispočetka (sooner rather than later).

Ukratko, Reading lista su i stvari koje se čitaju i stvari koje se trebaju čitati soon (onak 80% ?). Watching lista je 95% stvari koje se trebaju gledati soon. So yeah, nisam luda i ne pratim u isto vrijeme 90 animea i 90 mangi. XD

Otkad igram FF7EC na Steamu (2.5 mjeseca) više ne stignem gledati/čitati, pa kasnim još više s time što je planirano. T___T

Yeah, sometimes a show just isn't for you, I get exactly what you mean. My favorite zombie show is an idol parody anime called Zombieland Saga, check it out if you ever want to laugh, it's got some great characters, and I am a sucker for a good parody.

I also made my list on the anime bingo website, you can basically expand it up to 7x7 - which equates to 49 shows. I think the anime posters and arrangement helps a bit in terms of deciding what to watch next. I feel it's somewhat better than an average plain list with titles. Idk, it kind of helps my brain and makes it easier to choose what to watch. You can save the picture list you made on there and then edit it every time you finish a show, it feels somewhat satisfying.

No in-depth comments on Lain, lol. As I said, I love the atmosphere in the show and the premise, but I did not like the execution/writing or the characters. I think I would've liked it a lot more if it was condensed into a movie. Some of the themes and ideas were cool, but I feel like a lot of it is just too open to interpretation - which would be fine if the show itself was shorter. By the time it got to the answers and the reveals, I was already pretty uninterested and finishing it felt more like a chore, rather than me being excited to find out what was happening. Who knows, maybe a good re-watch might change my opinion on it. It's not a bad show by any means, maybe my timing with it was wrong.

I have tried reading manga on several occasions, it just doesn't seem to be my thing. I value voice acting and soundtracks a bit too much, I think. To be fair, I've never really made a serious attempt at getting into it, so who knows? Some of my favorite shows only have 1 season and the manga for them has been done for a bit, with no S2 in sight...so I am getting desperate (looking at you Girls' last tour and Houseki no Kuni). But every time I think about getting into manga, I always think there's too many good anime shows that I could be watching instead, so I get discouraged. I hope one day I'll get into it.

Even though I don't read manga, feel free to mention what you've been reading and liking. I know how it feels to experience something great, but having no one to talk about it. So feel free to gush about any show or manga that has left an impression on you.

It's an Oshimi manga and his stuff never bores me because he does write weird stuff that's for sure.

Pogledam nešto dobro kad izađe. Ne mogu ko prije gledat svašta :D Sad će na ljeto izaći par dobrih stvari.
A znam i dosta rewatch pa to ne update, ali svakako sam smanjio. Nije to ko prije.
Čak i serije ne gledam nešto. A ni nema nešto na netflixu i slično? Nema više ko prije klasika kao što je bio breaking bad i sl.
Trenutno čitam neku mangu i baš sam je puno pročitao, a ja inače ne čitam toliko mange

It's totally fine if you never even get around to watching Artiswitch, as it's not a show that has a huge mass appeal, it's more of like a personal favorite. I don't think it'll be your kind of show anyway, but bringing it up every time we correspond does feel like an inside joke and a meme, lol.

I'm not really busy at all, I've been having minor health problems for the last few days, so I've been chilling at home. I also haven't been watching anime as of the past week or so. I think it's about time I start a new series, but I'm having trouble figuring out what to watch. This year has been a bit crazy, I did watch a few good shows here and there, but for some reason my two favorite shows were the ones I watched almost back to back recently. They were Nana and Kingdom, so I'm still riding on the high from those two.

As for how I pick shows, it's really random. All that you mentioned in your comment and more... I also have a list that I made at the start of the year, with about 50 shows that interested me, so I've been following that mostly. I'm definitely not a seasonal watcher, just trying to diminish my never-ending PTW list. I have also been re-watching a lot of shows and movies this year, so not a whole lot of new titles.

I believe my PFP is some sort of a Lain fanart, yes... at least that's what came up when I was researching it. I haven't really dug that deep into it, I found this one randomly and it felt like it was made for me, lol. I did enjoy Lain's atmosphere and premise, but I'm not a huge fan of the show overall, so the PFP is not really paying a homage to the show itself.

Anyway, I hope you're doing well too! I really hope the zombie show is keeping you entertained, lol. If not, then I believe you'll find something better soon enough, there are tons of great shows :)

Nadam se da ćes naći dvd hahahahaha. Što se tiče animea jako mi se sviđa, soundtrack mi je ODLIČAN i što više gledam imam veliku želju samo se ići voziti.
