I see you're watching the Dororo remake. God, the further you get into that show, the more boring it gets lol. I swear it's one of the most boring anime I've seen. Hopefully you're finding enjoyment in it, though haha.

Without the priest I would have enjoyed it way more though.

Without giving you any spoilers, I don't know how the old version differs from the new one.

In the end there was nothing that actually shone or that was particularly interesting in my opinion, the relationship Dororo-Hyakkimaru was.. lacking?, well the guy couldn't speak for most of the show lol, but even so, it was rather dull.. Dororo pretty much was the ballboyarm carrier that got kidnapped or had to be rescued. The fights were boring, the demons were not exciting..

Plus everything was so contrived, the plot was coming to the characters rather than the opposite.. and the bald-blind priest is the biggest deus-ex / exposition dump character i have ever seen, the guy was spouting shit about the plot or reaching conclusions that the spectator is supposed to realize by watching the series, instead we got this guy just explaining everything or jumping to conclusions, the anime didn't made an effort to develop anything, just leave it to the priest lol, it was so lame.

Finished Dororo, and I just realized this was actually a manga from Osamu Tezuka lol, first work I watch from the guy.
