| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The OP song for this show works although there's some cringe moments in it as well. Compared to the original series, this has a lot more fan service as well. Not much action this episode so I guess the show is trying to flesh out its characters more. Bete is still an ass as expected. I still don't find Lefiya appealing in this show though especially with her fangirl delusions. Overall episode was okay imo, not as distinctive as the first but works as it tells the story from Aiz's perspective. The timeline takes place pretty much the same as original. God damn it Bell, don't run like a coward |

| Refia certainly has it hard with Loki around. The other girls are happy to have Refia around tho seeing as she handles the abuse from Loki. Anyway the amount of Ais service in this episode was simply great, you can never have enough Ais service!! The we also got some service from the other girls which was nice. |
| Lefiya doesn't suit as a MC at all. If the whole story keeps revolving around Lefiya, it will be annoying to watch. I hope we can get more Ais backstory and more interesting situations. 2/5 |
| Really nice OP and it made me smile to see that Bell and Hestia made the cut for it too Other than that, this was a nice episode and although I disliked Lefiya in the first episode, she wasn't as annoying in this one and I think that her admiration for Aiz is understandable and kinda cute at the same time so it didn't bother me What I hate though is how she acts in battle so as long as we don't get much of that, I won't have that much of a problem with her but hey, that's what character development is for so hopefully we'll get some in order to fix my issues with her The way this is coinciding with the first anime is pretty cool to see and I'm liking how they're giving another perspective for just about every scene that overlaps with the first series......But I must say that I really enjoy all of the moments with our 4 main girls and their chemistry with each other just works if you ask me But I DIED when they had Aiz try on Hestia's outfit LOL and what was even funnier was Lefiya's reaction to it because I know that a lot of people IRL felt the same way about it like she did, so I thought that was a nice moment xD |
| Good episode. I liked Lefiya this episode, she was pretty cute and I like how she wants to help Ais for everything she's done. Our 4 main girls are nice and pretty fun to watch. :) Loki sure has fun with her groping. XD Sneak peak at Ais's stats, nice. Interesting that this series takes place in parallel to the original one and shows the similar scenes from a different perspective. I assume this means we'll get to see a fair bit of Bell and Hestia. The shopping trip was awesome, that Hestia outfit on Ais. XDD Nice scene with Ais thanking Lefiya. :) |

| Is this thing revolves around Lefiya, it's gonna be boring, and annoying at the same time. She is terrible as a MC, just as Ais. The episode itself was a letdown, after the 1st ep. |

| What a bad and boring episode. The shopping trip was lame. Loki groping Lefiya is dumb. At least Lefiya is doing her best to cheer up Ais. But she is bad as an MC. Got to see Bell. |

| When Hestia was running I was shouting "Come back!!!" Nothing much to say about this episode. Loki was amusing in this episode. Hope we'll find out why Ais wants to be stronger. |

| You can't have a kuudere as a main character. You have to be able to relate with the emotions of the character. \ And Lefiya is annoying. But that may be because we know how that Ais forms a somewhat relationship wit Bell and she has no chance with her. |
| So far I'm really enjoying the original, DanMachi, from Aiz's perspective! It just adds on more to the characters I was really liking in the original!! |

| I'm only paying attention to this anime to see what holes it fills from the first season. So far it feels like the abundance of fanservice and fluff is trying to make up for the fact that this show doesn't have a lot of Hestia. And now we have yet another character who's obsessed with Ais for no real reason aside from fangirl delusions. I'm hoping this series will pick up soon because it's boring as hell at the moment. The only really funny part was Ais in Hestia's outfit. 2/5 |

| All that groping in the beginning and at the end made me roll my eyes.....can we just see things progress without resorting to all this cliched fanservice. Oh wait, there needs to be some replacement for Breastia to please those viewers. Nothing really worth mentioning occurred in this episode, and I have to agree with others that are saying Ais doesn't really work as the MC. This still feels like it focuses more on Lefiya, who I also feel doesn't work as an MC because I just don't really care for her. I think they should have just done a normal season 2. |

| Did they just removed Aiz and make her the cool and non-talkative woman, I think it gonna be pure fanservice at this point. I still have no idea why they have Lefiya perspective... this should be Ainz show not her... goddamn they really want to make her a pretty thing only despite the fact she got a great and smart personality , this adaptation botched hard. |

| This is really making me want to go back and watch DanMachi and this series together episode by episode. I might just do that actually. Anyways, this series seems to have a lot of focus on plot, plot growth, plot shrinkage and plot fondling. |

| Aiz is a very internal person and here lies the biggest problem with this anime adapation that too many other anime suffer from as well, they have cut all the internal monologues and that is a huge problem for this anime because we are hardly getting anything from Aiz making her feel like a blank character. I will never be able to understand why so many anime cut out internal monologues as it is always damaging and they are very important. An excellent and well know example of a anime that used internal monologues was Kyon from Haruhi. |

| Although I found this episode to be entertaining and good, it does show how Ais and Lefiya are somewhat lacking as the main leads of the show so far. Who knows if they'll improve as leads, but right now, Bell and Hestia were better at this in the original DanMachi. However, I'm actually liking Loki more here than I did in the original DanMachi, but mostly since she was able to grope Lefiya's boobs three times. ^^' Hopefully the show will find its form down the line, to make up for its slow start. =) |

| I wasn't sure how I would feel about this anime but... I like it. I have never seen one that is from a different point of view of it's parent story. It's refreshing and so far doing a good job of it. |

| The beginning of the OP reminded me of how the original OP of Danmachi was like: Main characters are shown one by one facing the camera, but this time it's the members of the Loki Familia. I was smiling when I saw Hestia making the cut in the OP. x) It's become a running gag with Loki charging to welcome her Familia members, but with three of the girls side stepping to avoid her tackle glomp and only Lefiya gets caught to suffer from the wrath of breast groping. :P It happened in this episode 3 times. xD Well, watching Danmachi from the Loki Familia's perspective sure feels refreshing to watch. I remember that's how Bell-kun was when I first saw him in the original Danmachi, but he's having less appearances in here with the story more focused on Ais and company. Happy to see Hestia making a short appearance in the episode but we can't see her face. D: Tiona was really jealous of Hestia-sama's "huge rack". xD The beginning of Bell's and Hestia's story in the original Danmachi was more interesting than this though, tbh, but let's see if the story would improve between Ais and Lefiya. |
| Downtime after coming back from the dungeon and fixing their equipment. Ais getting frustrated cause she can't gain stats fast and bell is on her mind. Lefiya seems nice. |

| This is getting rather boring now, I'm thinking of dropping it after 2 episodes, that's quite unlike me. I think Lafiya really isn't suitable as an MC, I could laugh at Hestia and Bell though. |

| Hmm.. I can't shake the feeling how this feels kind of bland. Most of the support characters (who are pretty much 80% screentime anyway) look like generic extras, which is pretty much explained by the fact that they.. were generic extras in original. Art quality has decreased if anything, backgrounds in original were a bit blurred out, but here they are lighted up AND blurred, looks notably strange or low qual at times. The humor/fanservice does not work out for the absolute most part, and having the same cliche gag repeated 3 times in an episode was underwhelming. A lot of people don't like Bell (me included) because he is a generic weak scrub who somehow becomes important - but the difference between this MC and Bell is that Bell LOOKS, FEELS and is clearly displayed like an MC, however generic he may be. Ais is a more interesting character than that Lefiya, but she is definitely not MC material either. Now to the biggest reason why I honestly think this side-story or w/e is sub-par to the original: The MC and the story. If you watch Ep1+2, and then the original Ep 1, you will instantly see the difference. There is no goal or similar "plot points" presented in any of the first 2 episodes, more than some fighting and a prologue to s1 in EP1, as well as some boob gags and "character background foreshadowing" with Ais in EP2. The original presented the MC and Hestia and kind of both their relation as well as what they are - A total noob and twintails. It also provides us with the general plot and world, as well as pretty much the MC's goal - to become strong enough to face Ais. Basically, the 2 first eps of the side-story contained the same amount of content as the first episode of the original - save a plot goal. It feels as if they wasted a lot of time on pointless conversations, forcing gags and giving useless backstory. The original is definitely not a perfect series, but it's a gentle watch with fluid humor, basically a decent show worth the watch, and currently after 2 episodes i'm not sure about how far this side-story will reach. |

| New MC seems really similar to Bell in that they both start off really weak, get teased by people around them, build friendships and get stronger as the season progresses... but for some reason I can't stand her much and it's only been 2 eps.. Will still continue coz of Ainz :/ I know Bell was a bad character too, but at least he had his leader with him, and the chemistry felt better. The Loki familia is so huge and 'rich' that Loki doesn't even have to make an appearance at all for them to be successful.. so I don't feel the connection at all. But of course, future episodes might change my opinion, so we'll see. |

| We'll get more of Aiz' perspective soon. These first few episodes was pretty much to establish the timeline where things are at in comparison to the original story. This episode we got through the Mistress of Abundance Bell-Slating scene, and if you were observant enough, we ended with Loki returning from the God's party where Hestia asked Hephaestus to forge Bell's black knife. Going by the preview for next episode, we're finally at the monster festival. After this we should start focusing more on Aiz herself rather than on Leyfia, specially when she goes down to solo the dungeons. We'll also start getting some more interactions with Bell and other characters soon too like |
