This is indeed ...
a Yuri work, which is one of the things I like most.
If you truly enjoy CGDCT and wholesome SoL then this show is for you.
there is nothing to talk about the story because its own genre has already spoken for it.
only one thing left to talk about is Miyako (the main character).
She is a cute girl with some talent that makes people around cannot hate her, a shy cute otaku.
even though she has some weird fetish.
we indeed agree that she is attracted by a little girl, you guys may see it as something very disgusting but no.
being a lolicon doesn't mean that ...

I was hesitant to watch the Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter because of the low score and negative reviews. All I can say is that they were right. I was looking for something lighthearted and funny, but this anime didn't cut it for a variety of reasons.

The anime centers around the main character, Noir, receiving the ability to create, edit and remove skills at the cost of a resource called LP. Although this cheat-like ability would definitely make him overpowered, I expected that at the very least we would see a lot of creativity in how this ability would be applied. Imagine hilarious solutions ...

Here is my review of this anime in 2024!

Story (9)
The story is about an organization that manipulates the water in the sand land. Then there is a Beelzebub that cooperates with human to get back those fresh water for everyone.

Art (8)
The art in this anime is very good! I like how they anime the anime in 2.5 dimensions. it's looks like in dragon ball super movie.

Sound (9)
All the sounds that they used were suitable and adjusted to the animation.

Kuroko's Basketball is a sports anime. While it may appear uninteresting to watch an anime about a sport if you are not a sports enthusiast, it is important to note that the anime delves into more than just the sport itself. It places significant emphasis on the camaraderie and bonding among the players of each team, while also imparting a valuable lesson about the importance of perseverance and never giving up.

The aforementioned phrase provides an accurate description of the entire anime. The characters have a shared objective and work together to achieve it, demonstrating trust and belief in one another.

Even when everything appears to be ...

I have to say I’ve been thoroughly enjoying some of the latest villainess stories to come to us. And this one is no exception.

As with most isekai, someone passes on and thus becomes princess pride from their favorite video game. What I really liked about this one as opposed to other stories with similar plots, is that the main protagonist, princess pride, doesn’t win over her people by being just kind and pretty. Her intellect was much more valued in this show, and was the reason people began to devote themselves to protecting her or supporting her on her endeavors to become queen.

This one really ...

10/10 - This score is based on my enjoyment with the show, not meant as an objective value of the quality, although I will say as an objective score it's pretty much up there as well, in my opinion.

First up, it's a 3D anime done right and the animators have utilized the advantages of the animation style very well during action scenes. Toriyama's cartoonish style translates well into the visuals/textures and while it can all get a little game'ish occasionally, I think it looks great. Unlike the vomit inducing visual disaster of Trigun Stampede, the frame rate and animation is smooth throughout.

Sand Land is a ...

Apologies if my review seems a bit disorganized, as this is my first ever attempt at one, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts on this anime because it truly deserves attention.

If you've stumbled upon this anime's page, I urge you to stop reading and to go watch it now. It's an experience which I think is best observed blindly

I'm unsure as to why it has garnered a low rating. It could be attributed to its somewhat nonsensical plot, the dated yet, in my opinion, significant 3D animation, or perhaps other reasons unbeknownst to me.

Upon viewing, my initial impression was that it might have ...

Honestly, this is the most beautiful anime ever made. At least for me. It's just a cute story about cute idols making everyone smile, and that's all I need to be happy. There are no stupid misunderstandings in Aikatsu, all the characters are always nice to each other and there are no serious conflicts going on. Aikatsu is a perfect world in which everyone lives happily and in harmony. If everyone watched Aikatsu, the world would be a better place to live in. So please, watch Aikatsu if you're the kind of person who would like to live in a perfect world with no hate ...

If you dislike Isekai, your opinion won't change watching this. If you're like me and generally don't mind Isekai, you still won't enjoy this dreg.

All the Isekai Tropes like OP MC. growing ever stronger, ever growing Harem etc. but it lacks what makes I'm a Spider so what?, Reincarnated as a slime etc. enjoyable. every Episode so far felt like just ticking of points on a checklist. For example: everything is dealt with in seconds without any buildup and characters, if you can even call them that, in general are hollow and lack any charm. Art isn't anything worth writing home about either. MC ...

Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight Movie is thematically completely at odds with my favorite work of all-time, Texhnolyze, and completely shatters the nihilistic mindset that it was trying to convey, that in the end, everything is just a theory of futility. The classic philosophical theme of existentialism is personified by the Kinema Citrus' technical prowess beyond the viewer's imagination, and most importantly, the sequence, which is elegant, colorful, and dense with symbolism at the same time & clearly reminds the viewer that it is you who must find out what is truly valuable to you, and that you must not be consumed by anxiety, but rather ...

This is so bad it's good levels of entertainment, that level of The Room and Birdemic Shock and Terror where you know what you're watching is trash but you could watch it with a group of friends and just laugh your ass off with the insane plot, animation and voice acting.

This is one of the progenitors of the Bara genre and it definitely shows it age at times but that makes it even more iconic, and given how big meme culture is it honestly came at the best time.

I would recommend this to people who want a good laugh and don't take things too seriously ...

As of right now, there are only four episodes out, so take this review with a grain of salt in the future.

This show is an amazingly creative and interesting underdog story that parodies the Power Rangers “monster of the week” gimmick. We follow Fighter D, who seeks to break free of the oppressive truce decided by humanity after they defeated his monster leaders. This truce lead to a 12-year period where these fighters would shapeshift into monsters and fight the rangers in what essentially amounts to a gladiator arena. These weekly fights are then commercialized and used to promote the rangers even more. However, our ...

One of Toriyama's most dramatic works is finally adapted and extended!
Sand Land, being short, is a raw and exciting story full of the mangaka's classic humor.

Humans and demons coexist, although distanced by their mutual hatred, more than 50 years of drought could end them, until a Sheriff decides to put an end to it by making a deal with the demons to find a source of water that, according to legend, It would be so big that it would return water to all of Sand Land. BUT beyond the horizon, there would be mysteries and interests about water and war, which our protagonists would face. ...

Vampire Princess Miyu (the 1988 OVA) is a masterpiece of gothic horror. It is the legendary "Dracula anime" that you have been waiting your whole life to see, without so much as knowing that it ever existed. If all you're looking for is a quick recommendation, then you have my blessing to go and watch it right now; I have already given this OVA my highest possible endorsement, so you can stop reading here and thank me later. Your time is sacred, and so too is beautiful artwork. If you are looking for a more thorough introduction, read on.

It's an adorable and evidently vintage animated series featuring a bunny endowed with superpowers who swoops in to save people from wrongdoers.

The cartoon seems to subtly incorporate political undertones, particularly with its frequent references to American city names and themes, adding an intriguing layer to its charm.

It's the perfect choice for a casual viewing with a younger cousin or sibling, but it also serves as a delightful background companion while I tackle my homework.

The story itself is pretty self explanatory and is sort of predictable in a certain sense. Regardless, it is a very cute cartoon that is pretty enjoyable as something to play while ...

I'm a manga reader. The early chapters were the best, and that's why I was looking forward to this adaption. It does not disappoint! Stellar animation, great voice acting, good direction, fantastic sound design, good backgrounds... nothing is lacking here. This is a perfect adaption, and if you like the manga, you will like the anime!

There are only three episodes out, and at this point in the manga I was really enjoying it, so there's really not too much left to say. The story starts off really fun and interesting, and that's what we're getting with this anime. I recommend giving it a watch, but ...

Absolutely blew me away after watching SDF. One of my favorite anime movies I’ve ever seen. Viewing SDF vastly improves your first viewing of the movie, as otherwise you’ll miss out on a lot of side characters and bits of lore from the SDF anime. It’s a necessary sacrifice to make a movie work though, and it pays off for the main characters.

The animation is top notch. It’s gorgeous. Probably has some of the best animation I’ve seen in a movie.

The love triangle is vastly improved and actually makes sense. In a lot of ways, this is closer to how it should have played out ...

Before the review: This show, like many older shows, contains flashing scenes which may trigger seizures in some people, and which many others will find distracting or annoying.

If you're looking for that special something that some 90's anime stories have that you can't find anymore look elsewhere because there is none of it here. With the exception of 2 or 3 quirks you've probably already seen, heard, or read this before. Whether or not it was clever for its time the writing has aged terribly.

The animation was surprisingly satisfying, not just from the innate charm that pre-digital art has, but also because this ...

Words cannot describe how good this anime is. It is seriously incredible how good AND underrated this anime is. This has 15% of the views that YLIA has on MAL and I am assuming maybe 5-10% of the views of YLIA in the real world.
But this anime is seriously amazing. From the emotions portrayed to the music played, everything was amazing.

The Story: The story is about a glasses guy and Sen and a girl that the glasses guy likes. This is a spoiler-free review, and a lot of what I want to talk about has spoilers, but let's just say the glasses guy likes ...

This anime had some of the highest highs in any anime for about two seconds. It had some really great moments, but in the end it ended up dragging on for to long and felt like it was stretched way to far. And I was overall not satisfied with the ending, it was very predictable and I felt as though the 24 episode build up was NOT worth it in any stretch of the imagination. I would only ever recommend someone watch this if they are really into romance. But if your not stay far away from it, don't waste your time.

As of writing this review, only 5 episodes of 'Re:Monster' (2024) have been released.

So far this is just your standard Isekai power fantasy, with the main character having a similar power absorption ability as seen in 'So I'm a Spider, So What?' (2021) and 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime' (2018). It's most similar in quality to the former, the one about the spider, as it doesn't subvert expectations in any major ways and no intriguing plot emerged, as we saw with Reincarnated as a Slime.
For myself, I find the levelling up progression enjoyable and easy to watch due to its fast pace, ...

Soul eater is a masterpiece. But two characters really made it so good. Crona Gorgon and Maka Albarn. Most characters were enjoyable, sure. But without them? I would only give this a 7. Their arcs, their personalitys, EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM IS SO WELL DONE. Crona's backstory is a tearjerker, and their friendship with Maka is so good...I love soul eater. If you like dark shit with comedy shoved into a blender into a black blooded soul smoothie, read it. The artstyle is beautiful, the story is beautiful, and the comedy actually makes me chuckle. Only chainsaw man has ever succeeded at that nowadays. The characters ...

Tenchi Universe and Love Hina are usually what come to mind when someone says “harem anime”, and Tenchi does not deserve this. It’s a space opera with a love-triangle and some of the best-written female characters of 90s anime you are ever likely to find.

Only Aeka and Ryoko are even interested in Tenchi himself, the rest just find themselves in his home through circumstance and become his found-family. Sasami is never sexualised (thank goodness) and has a big-brother-little-sister dynamic with him which is wholesome and inoffensive. Washu plays with him but has her own stuff going on. Mihoshi is a ditz and just happy ...

Hot garbage. An interesting concept with promisingly diverse character designs, totally wasted after episode 3 begins and protag becomes another clueless, boring, “faultless” dude whom everyone is in love with because he has a personality and none of the other characters do. His initially collected and pseudo-intelligent demeanour goes out of the window to join the ranks of all the other forgettable, bland-but-OP protagonists of this genre. All the female characters are just archetypes with no faults, no one gets any character development, nothing matters and protag gets everything anyone could ever want or need. If this show goes anywhere I will never find out ...

tl;dr: A sequel season that has flashes of what was good about the first season but is overall pretty mediocre.

The second season of Knights of Sidonia continues the story of Nagate and company as they fight against the Guana in an effort to preserve humanity. However, beyond that the season is vastly different from the first and not for the better. What made the first season great was the world building as well as the major battles that always felt like such a desperate struggle for survival that they even had horror vibes at times. This season seems to go in a different direction.

Utterly horrible anime possible, protagonist is overpowered, dumb, scared of women and supposed to be kind, heroine is a fenrir and has a big chest. There is no difference whatsoever from the general isekai. Pisses me off so much, there is no worldbuilding, there is nothing interesting. This feels like a dream of a edgy 13 year old, is this a isekai or harem? This just irritates me to see how bad isekai has gotten within a few years. This shouldn't even be an anime, the story isn't unique, the art style is fitting, the main characters ARE not well rounded whatsoever, they have NO ...

Flip Flappers is basically a lighter version of Puella Madoka Magica with a generous pinch of magic mushrooms. It follows the duo, Cocona and Papika, as they flip-flap their way between dimensions, adventuring as magical girls in an LSD-infused world. Each episode is a journey into a different dimension, which comes its own landscapes, physics, and artstyle. The genre-bender nature of this anime is reflected in its storyline, which jumps around as much as the imagination of a child with ADHD as they sample through various TV channels by chewing on the remote. You've got everything: magical girl transformation scenes with loli fanservice, villains practically ...

hard hitting and dark and yet beautiful, one of the best anime series of the 90s. some moments had me sitting up with my hand over my mouth in shock (guts what have you done?), while others were really touching. what really sets this apart from any other fantasy shounen is the depth of the characters, specifically guts as he deals with his past, himself, and the guilt he accrues throughout the season.

the animation is a little janky at times, sure, but it was the 90s and sword fights are hard to animate impactfully. fortunately, what makes this show so enthralling is rarely the brute ...

This anime tries hard to be funny, but it isn't. None of its gags land, instead coming across as annoying. Specifically, the running gags, such as:

* The Kim Jong-il and North Korea gag
* The use of real-life images of animals and Sakura depicted as a white guy gag (The white guy's face is Thomas Romain, known for creating Code Lyoko)
* The "pipiru piru piru pipiru pi" chant gag

Furthermore, the plot of this show is nonsensical and remains unresolved by the end of the second OVA, leaving lingering questions about its bizarre storyline. Nevertheless, if you have a weird sense of ...

I'm already 6 episodes in and I feel like I can't immerse in this anime at all. The plot is very generic. I'm at the 6th episode and I can't even remember what happened to the last 5. I can't connect with the characters in any way. Back stories seem forced, like it was just out there to compensate for the lack of depth of the characters.

And the animation (or lack thereof). It is just so terrible. It's pretty obvious the studio is on a very, very tight budget to make this anime. Even the battle scenes look like they were made from a time ...

The best way I can describe this show is that it was SO CLOSE to being SO GOOD. Ragna Crimson does all the hard parts of making an anime well, typically anime tend to struggle with making interesting powers, interesting conflicts, dynamic and deep characters and themes, and the like, but Ragna Crimson executes all these brilliantly. The characters feel so full of life and determination, the Argentum Corps is a beautiful example of the determination and life of the characters in the anime.

If you liked the first two seasons of Spy x Family so far, then I can very much recommend Code White. This movie essentially is a prolonged episode of the show. The best thing about a Spy x Family story having a longer runningtime is that each member of the Forger family is given their chance to shine, with no one really feeling left out or benched by the end of it. The shenanigans we see then get in are familiar to a returning audience, but non the less still very entertaining.

I love Sailor Moon, the classic anime is a work of art, with delicate animation, fun scenes, and captivating history, romance and drama. This adaptation, compared to the classic anime, leaves something to be desired in many aspects if we compare it, such as the inferiority and strangeness of the animation with the use of CGI, the rushed development in the presentation of the characters, and also, the lack of showing the day to day Sailors' day in relaxed situations, where their development and their friendship are somewhat lost, making them more distant from the public. These are the negative points that I ...

Amazing anime!! Bocchi is very relatable on being socially awkward and anxious, but also being passionate about what you like. And the journey of growing on that and founding courage and the dedication to be better on what you enjoy.

All characters are fun and their personalities match very well, maintaining balance in absurdness on the jokes and day-to-day situations. The comedy is also very much like my kind of humour, so I really liked that.

Solo leveling has been a gateway to Manhwa for a lot of people, including me. A-1 Pictures did a really great job animating, the soundtracks were cool and the story has been adapted and presented in a very relaxed way. For a 12 episode long anime, it doesn't feel rushed at all. The story isn't really that complicated, in fact it is really simple and a lot of people might even call it generic and mid at best but for a lot of people simplicity has its very own way of charming people as well. I personally liked the concept of taking beloved fairy tales and giving them a dark twist, but the execution of this series was... not the best. "Grimm Kumikyoku" has 6 episodes and each of them follows a different plotline, which is nice if you just want to watch one or two, but the stories just feel crammed since they have to be finished in a short amount of time (30-40 mins). Since there are only 6, I'll write about and break down each one separately with individual ratings in case anyone doesn't want to watch the whole thing.

Okay since MAL won't let me post any less words, I would also like to say that this story doesn't really have a story. It's like a never ending MMORPG. The MC has no beef with anyone and neither is there a fixed goal. As the title says, he wants to perfect his magic, that's all. We all ...

"Do you know the meaning of the word 'bartender'? 'Bar' means a perch to rest on, and 'tender' means gentle. So 'bartender' means 'a gentle perch.'"

This is a line from the first episode that sets the premise and the tone of the show, romanticizing bartending as a sophisticated and almost therapeutic vocation. Except that I am pretty sure that is not where the word comes from. A bartender is the person who “tends” the bar, as in “taking care of,” similar to "tending to a patient." Cute girls, killer music, and the behind-the-scenes story of modern Japanese entertainment, along with subtle fanservice and beautiful animation—prepare yourself for a treat with Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai.

This anime is special in almost every aspect. The animation is breathtaking; you can tell they put their heart and soul into the first episode. The way the characters move, the vibrant colors, and the stunning jellyfish drawings—it's evident a lot of thought went into the animation.

The first episode began with a lot of promise, but after that promising start, the romance withered and died on the vine. If the two main characters had any chemistry to start with it quickly dried up, a casualty of this rushed adaption.
Speaking of rushed adaption the main story has been given no room to breathe and characters no chance to be developed. I honestly wonder why the studio even bothered to adapt this story if they were only going to botch it this badly.

Without a doubt, this is the most average isekai anime this season. It's not overly good nor overly bad to the point of being funny. It's a very standard isekai anime with barely any aspect that stands out. But does that make this anime bad? Absolutely not. The only things that make this anime "bad" are just how generic it is. Girls Band Cry is one of the most grippingly realistic anime I've seen in a long time, and I don't mean that visually. What I mean is that this anime can and will make you feel things. It's quite similar to BanG Dream MyGo in its style of drama, with a dash of Love Live's presentation (many of the staff worked on Sunshine) and a heap of Bocchi the Rock's charm and relatability, all without outright ripping off any of them. Ryza no Atelier is a great show if you're looking for a lighthearted coming of age story that still maintains that childhood innocence to it. It breaks away from the "teenaged classroom" model and gives us a freah take on "kids just being kids and finding their own way to become adults."
