1's are for shows that make me miserable and 10's are for shows that make me feel like I've had a meaningful experience added to my life - It being a "masterpiece" doesn't really apply, a show is usually a greater whole than the sum of its parts, and sometimes despite of them.
My scores are based largely on how much I've enjoyed them, at least for reviews. The ones without reviews are largely comparative.
I've watched anime since the early 90's. Sometimes I like mainstream content, sometimes I don't. Sometimes 3D shows are fine and sometimes Trigun Stampede happens and gives me the impression that an entire studio of people need to be laid off and black listed from ever working in the industry again.
I've forgotten a lot of the shows that I've watched so I add them as I'm reminded of them, as I was late to the game in making a MAL profile. That's why you'll see a bunch of shows added at a time.
Decided to join to remind myself later of good shows to re-watch or recommend.
