Welp, they're going further and further with focusing on Yuzu and Mei's relationship. It's nice to see Yuzu being reinstated to her school.

After that awkward incident, I think Yuzu is starting to have some even more anxiety about Mei. (that awkward kiss tease at night though) Speaking of Mei, it seems she is still quite fragile as a character and I also kinda feel sorry for what she is going through. Yuzu is also becoming more and more conscious of Mei :o

Well it's nice the chairman saw the error of his ways and receded Yuzu's expulsion.

After the scene in the karaoke place or whatever, I'm all for Yuzu x Harumin. XD

Double Bed! Yuzu's Mom is the real hero. XDD
Yuzu is so cute when she becomes overly conscious of Mei.

Mei is still really cold towards Yuzu, I'm still not sure why.
More kissing at the end was good but Yuzu is heartbroken. :(

Jesus this was dumb.

I always thought that only straight anime relationships are always overly dramatic and unrealistically complicated, guess i was wrong ...like the "dark" chick forcefully kiss cheerful straight chick, and she miraculously fell for that girl and turn lesbo, what ? Thats like the No. 1 rule in Ai shows.

I feel like i must be 13 to enjoy this show. Guess its finally time for the drop.

The melodrama is really dumb to watch, but I'll keep on watching just for that juicy yuri. How nice of the chairman to revoke Yuzu's expulsion. He was wrong about her. That ending though. Yuzu is heartbroken.

Really digging the realism in this show. For one most of the characters motivations and actions actually feel of that of a HS student. I know the anime community harps to much on yuri but adolescences always finds its way experimenting with love and lust at a young age. It really does portray the real world accurately. I am so glad the romance is progressing.

Loving the drama as well. So glad Tatsuwa (nisekoi director) is chief directing this series. The style is def showing. Can't wait for more of this fab show. This season is a treat.

The chairman certainly came around quick. Mei was super cold this episode. I felt pretty bad for Yuzu. At the same time Mei obviously has some complex going on. It was great to see Yuzu take charge and pin Mei down like that at the end. It felt like she was mostly being pushed around and manipulated by Mei till that point.

This episode should give us a roller coaster feels, like i love mei as much I hate her feeling. but the soundtrack didn't support that feels. It should sound melodramatic not like action or thrilling movie

Damn I feel bad for Yuzu being in a seemingly one sided relationship, but I'm guessing Mei definitely also shares those feelings but is putting up an emotional front for some reason? I'm sure we'll learn more about it as the show goes on

I usually like drama, but I don't know how to feel about this. Just when the situation seems to have gotten better it's almost worse than before.

Really hope this exaggeration stops, otherwise it would be a shame and wasted potential, especially cause there's so much in this show.

Welp, I did my 3 episodes. Man I've seen better written yuri in doujins and hentai, this is just seriously a bad joke. It feels like the potential is there but the execution is just all kinds of wrong. It makes me miss the yuri vibes that popped up in Kuzu no Honkai. Anyways, I'll probably look through for spoilers to see how this goes but I can't see myself watching this anymore...even at 2x speed.

Yuzu realizes her feelings for Mei; this is pretty fast for an anime. She barges into Mei's home and finds grandpa coughing on the floor, and apparently saves his life. Consequently, Mei warms up slightly to Yuzu, moves back in with Yuzu, and grandpa undoes her expulsion. Convenient.

In school, Mei seems to be regimental and cold. Secretly, she has a sexually aggressive side, and likes girlish trinkets. Sadly for Yuzu, it seems that Mei was only toying with Yuzu to shut her up—or that's what she claims.

The episode ends with Yuzu sexually assaulting Mei, and the student council VP suspecting that something is going on between them.

Baka Mei...

I'm getting the sense that this is mainly a fanservice show. And there's nothing wrong with that.

Not a terrible episode. It held my interest.

Looks like things are getting complicated on Yuzu's heart

Lol, It literally took Yuzu 3 episodes to get out of her confusion while realizing that she feels something for Mei, it didn't happen "miraculously". I mean, would you really be all right after being kissed out of nowhere, specially when that person also plays with your feelings so easily?

Looks like the principle is getting softer with Yuzu since she basically saved his life.

The way Yuzu pushed Mei on the desk and kissed her reminds me of how Mei kissed Yuzu the first time in episode 1.

I'll be honest. I do not approve of the fact that this anime tries to legitimize borderline sexual assault as an instigator for a serious romantic relationship, no matter the context. However, this IS a work of fiction, and this show does not push this concept to an extreme degree that it becomes debauchery, so I won't stand upon it too much.

Just be aware that most relationships in real life DO NOT work like this -_-

Anyways, solid episode. Mei still appears to be a complete hardass but we are beginning to see cracks in her character to reveal a much more softer side (as expected).

By itself, a lesbian kiss is not ecchi. But I think it's hard to deny that the show with every episode is getting more and more tensely erotic.

I still don't like how this so called romance is presented and characters are't even likable. This sistery business is kind of annoying, they aren't real sisters and basically still strangers, why emphasize this so much like some special thing? I don't think I will like where it is going either, the new jealous girl will definitely be annoying as fuck and even if Mei and Yuzu end up together at the end (and they should cause that's the whole point of yuri-anime like this), I won't buy it because their relationship is already fucked up and I don't see how any romantic feelings between them can be made believable.

Is that even matter?
The greatest plots are the ones that drive the imagination of its fans and make them think, be it about the story or about the theme the story takes.
Same law applies to fan-service. Clearly the storyteller here takes the "hinting" route of fan-service, to a great effect.

Haven't read the source, but I really want to now. Love the chemistry between Yuzu and Mei. I'm really looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops in the further episodes. I always like that in shows when two characters dislike each other, but slowly grow to love one another, I know it's cliche, but it's really sweet. Also, really curious if they're going to get exposed!

DOUBLE BED! DOUBLE BED! Mei doesn't want to sleep in it because it's too hot? Oh come on...Get in heat...GET IN HEAT!

Mei's not interested in Yuzu? Well there's only one way to change her mind: RAPE! And not just any rape. REVENGE RAPE! LET'S GO!

While I think some areas are rough around the edges (hope they fix that in the blu-ray), I still think this is a fantastic adaptation. I have to say I liked the scene where Yuzu forcefully kisses Mei in the manga more, but I think the anime will have the same impact with anime-only viewers, and in some ways, it probably got across the point better.

I just hope the pacing gets faster and the visuals get more creative in the upcoming episodes to emphasize Yuzu's and Mei's hectic emotions.

I remember that corkscrew girl being really annoying in the manga and what do you know? She's even more grating now that she's walking and talking on screen.

Can't get enough of Harumin though. I'm not up to date with the manga, but out of all the side characters she's the one I think deserves actual focus!

Relationship between Mei and Yuzu is developing nicely too.
But seriously, what kind of person thinks it's a good idea to buy two teenage girls one double bed?! XD

Yuzu is finally realising her love for Mei which was great to see especially with that ending, I didn't think Yuzu would have it in her to kiss Mei. It seems like one of the members from the Student council misunderstood what Yuzu might've done to Mei.

I'd heard good things about the manga, but either this adaptation is waaay off or the manga is really overrated. It's just been a bunch of high drama setups that I don't even buy. This is cheap melodrama, so I'll just watch it for that, but it's not actually a good or believable story.

@Draconix814 Well, I will agree that at least as adaptation, the Holo was much better. Another matter, Citrus, Aki sora and Yosuga no Sora nevertheless have strong crossing thanks to dramatic romance and studying the tabu relationship. Of course, considering that the incest in Citrus is especially formal, and the forbidenness of the relations makes sense only in Japan.

Well, the main feature of the manga is that it takes yuri pairings and places them in a sea of common dramatic cliches. But the problem is that the manga has become a victim of the traditional problems of extremely popular works and from a certain time it continues simply artificially.

@Swagernator This is the general stereotype of LGBT manga and anime, for some reason, the authors of such works are very fond of portraying violent relationships. On the other hand, it is possible that this is a kind of attempt to "remove responsibility" from MC for a similar relationship, many imouto-titles or lolicon-titles are following this way.
