The message I've been typing got deleted because I didn't save it to a notepad like I usually do... Oh well, it wasn't too long anyway.

Starting dating and even conceiving a child is a relatively easy process, but maintaining your own happiness afterwards is much more difficult. For that to happen, you need to have some really special person. I don't think there's been even a single good example of a happy couple in my life, it's all full of animosity, regret, etc.

Man, among all my peers (I don't know your age, but I think we're close) only like 10% plans/wants to make a family, this is certainly a weird time in history. Needless to say, I'm part of that 10% too.

I can relate to your mood situation, however sometimes it feels that unless you start something the correct mood will never come. Speaking of Kiseki, I wonder how would it feel to play 12 games back to back. Personally, I'm glad I've been playing these games for many years instead of just playing all of them at the same time. It's like my second (more fulfilling) life by now. I did play Hajimari and Kuro back to back in 2022 though. Had a really good time with them.

This is always how it is. 99% of fans like it or at least aren't offended, and then there are those who never played the game start complaining about things. Annoying busybodies.

That's what following trends does to people. They want to know about the current popular thing and try to interact with it even though they're not the target audience. Man, nowadays I sometimes struggle to finish even the things I like (e.g. Berseria), and people force themselves to watch something they supposedly hate. Doesn't make much sense.

I've been using imgur before switching to imgbb a few years ago when imgur started arbitrarily deleting images (a lot of my old links show the "image not found" error now). Some people also say the image in my profile doesn't load and it's a bit irritating, but I don't know good alternatives to these sites.

The only Atelier I've played is still just Sophie (I did play Ryza for a bit but didn't finish it), but this looks interesting. Apparently, you can drive a motorbike here and one of the bad guys is voiced by Kuroda Takaya who recently voiced an antagonistic figure in Kiseki too. Judging on what I've seen in this video, I'd probably like Isla the most among this game's characters.

The discrepancy between salaries in different countries is sometimes nauseating. People in my country used to go to neighboring countries to do menial work and earned like 10 times more than what they'd get at home.

The Raz situation is even more bizarre when you consider that he is what you'd normally consider a "hero", given his acts; but all he did apparently doesn't worth anything because he committed an evil, unforgivable act of slapping a woman's butt.

There was a guy on MAL forums complaining about slice of life/"filler" moments in Muv-Luv, Utawarerumono and Kiseki, like "they don't respect my time" and "could've been much better if they were shorter" (not exact words since I don't want to search for the post, but the meaning is the same), but I think it's very stupid take. All those little "filler" moments is exactly what makes the whole journey much more enjoyable and what makes you grow attached to the characters. If for example Sky trilogy was a series of 3 2-hours long movies, there is no way it would be able to convey even a fraction of what the games are about. That is to say... Some people are simply incapable of appreciating wholesome, charming stuff.

Basically I went to the bat boss and died when it had only a little HP left; then on the second try killed him, but I had only 1 HP left. Unfortunately, imgbb has been acting up lately which is a shame because it's been my favorite image hosting site for several years.

Out of curiosity, I've checked airplane tickets from here to the capital of your country and wow, it costs like 3-4 average monthly salaries and double that if you want to fly there and back. World is so damn big (and expensive to live in). This reminded me of what I heard about some people from CIS countries, like they're flying to Mexico and then illegally crossing U.S. border and earn much more money there than they were earning in their own countries. Sometimes I feel stupid for not exploiting things like this. Although the ones I mentioned do it in big numbers, so when they arrive there, they have easier time renting places to live in and find work.

I forgot about Adol. Could've been a generic "make your own character" instead of a legendary red haired swordsman. Also, Sekiro's protagonist is more memorable than DS's in my opinion.

Porting VC2 and VC3 seems like such an easy money for Sega, but they abandoned the series for some reason. All I remember about VC4 coverage is how the "journalists" attacked it for that butt slap scene. Remembering it now, it's crazy - a game about war where people die left and right and all sorts of terrible things happen, yet it's just a friendly butt slap that makes these people lose their minds. And if it was guy on guy they'd probably be praising lol.

That's because they're using anime as a "new trendy thing which seem to be popular among the younger audience". I don't think you can create anything good with it. It's similar to how live action adaptations of anime or manga end up terrible most of the time.

Looking at the state of modern Europe and North America, which are supposed to be the first world countries, I can't help but think that when it comes to politics, things are terrible everywhere. Not sure about culture, but considering most of things which annoy me in video-gaming industry came from there, I'm skeptical about this aspect too. Yeah but the thing is, I didn't even get Lin in the end and just uninstalled the game. It was my second try with it (the first time was at the release day). Who did you try to reroll for in KonoSuba? To be honest, the very idea of a "anime gacha" doesn't sound very appealing to me, like it was made simply to milk the fans, but considering I'm still playing Northern War gacha I'm in no position to talk about this lol.

Ah, right. Even though Valkyria Chronicles is one of my favorite series, I actually forgot about this aspect of it.

Whenever I visit places like Reddit it does feel like it is a place where only a portion of the userbase are real people lol. With how fast AI improves, at some point it's going to be very difficult to differentiate real people from bots. That's just one more reason to stick with the people you've know for a long time :P

That fight between Shizuna and Rean was great, although it was a bit funny that Rean, after getting stronger for 5 games, ended up loosing so badly to a new character.

Yeah, who needs a character customizer when you can play as this: Man, looking at that screenshot of yours made me remember how many re-rolls I tried to do in that game to get Lin, so I did that Shirli quest sequence dozens of times.

The only saving grace is that you can get the same shipgirls again, but they won't be leveled/upgraded/have married status, so they don't have much to do with the ones you've lost. How was it in Fire Emblem?

Thanks for explaining. I'm always happy to see when people praise Kiseki characters so much and you've been with Estelle for many years! Hopefully, she'll continue to brighten your life as her surname would suggest. But yeah, the way Estelle pursued Joshua was a testament of authenticity of her feelings for him, it was very romantic.

7/10 are Estelle-related scenes, as expected! I don't remember Rufina's death that well to be honest, I really need to replay the whole trilogy at some point.
Yep, Olivier is great. Almost all of his appearances end up being very memorable and I really loved his rivalry with Bleublanc and Giliath. He's probably my top-5 character in the whole series.

As for CrossCode, it's disappointing to hear this. Since I haven't played the game myself I can't say anything about the puzzles or other issues you've mentioned, however retcons is something I don't like in general.

I guess I need to go back to Berseria ASAP, though, because it would be a shame for me if you managed to finish it faster even though I've started it 2 months ago lol. I'm really interested to know what you'll think of the main heroine.

First time I'm hearing about that Polystation thing, interesting. How about PC counterfeit discs? A lot of them were being sold in my town in the 00s. Must have been a lucrative business - just take an empty CD or later DVD disc and sell it for money. Digital piracy is much more user friendly, ha-ha. Now that I think about it, digital piracy is probably what killed counterfeit shops, it's kind of ironic.

I think parents should be the ones who decide what their kids should or shouldn't watch/read/play. At the very least, there is no reason to censor content for actual adults because some kid might theoretically see something inappropriate.

Something to do with the character creator. I can see where he's coming from because most of the time NPCs end up looking much better than what you can customize for yourself. A good example would be if you compare Lumine/Aether to Tower of Fantasy protagonist - even though I'm not the biggest fan of the former, I still think they look better than the latter.

Yeah, Kancolle has Teitoku (Admiral) and Azur Lane Shikikan (Commander). That's why they sometimes are drawn with the letters "T" or "S" instead of human heads, the same way idolmaster's producer is drawn as "P". Kancolle is much darker than Azur Lane in general, both lore-wise and gameplay-wise (you can even lose shipgirls in battle irrevocably, even the ones you've married).

I guess there is not much demand for that, or maybe it's just difficult to make. I wonder if satellite internet connection is better than cable.

Applying modern morals on settings which aren't modern or even fictional is just pure ignorance of human nature, culture, history, society, etc. Also a complete lack of imagination.

When it comes to visual side of a character, hair is definitely very important. One of my friends likes to joke about my tendency to like girls with very long hair. The rest is understandable too. I'll need to first watch Fruit Basked before I can fully comprehend Tohru's situation, though.

I don't think there is any other weapon that is as beautiful, within Kiseki or outside of it. Although I'm obviously not the most unbiased person around ha-ha.

What's up with that Terminator thing?

Yeah, the animation is noticeably worse. It seems like 36 episodes for them is too. Although episode 6 looked pretty good.

I think the thing that bothers me most though is the pacing. I'm working off hazy memories, but I do not remember the current arc being this fast-paced. Tsukiko being kidnapped by Mudo and his fight with Senya felt super condensed. I'll still watch it weekly, but the adaptation of Part 2 is not as good as Part 1 so far.
