| Slow, but good episode. I thought I would see Rico just crack under the pressure of meeting a new person, but she seemed to act very mandatory in her actions. The English dub is killing me, though. (-.-) Looking forward to the next! |

| Saw his death coming once he started befriending her. But was still nice, I didn't think she would be able to kill him so easily after that conversation. I guess this really shows how absolute the orders are to them. |

| yeah, im starting to realise that this show isn't action at all, infact far from it, so from now on I'm going to stop expecting high action... this was done really well, just too bad for the kid at the end even though you kinda knew something bad was going to happen with their previous interaction! The episodes so far are getting better and better for me hope it keeps it up! |
| Holy. Crap. I saw it coming from a mile away after Jean said that. But it still hit me hard, how calmly Rico did the deed. At first, I expected her to at least have some pang of conscience. They did a great job of giving that illusion, right up until she raised her gun. Beautiful. I've been avoiding this show for so long because I knew it would be out of my comfort zone. And now I can't stop watching. Damn you, Gunslinger Girl! |

| I actually thought this episode was weak compared to the first two. The first two were amazing and blew me away so one eh episode can be forgiven as long as the next one is amazing. |

| Just a thought now...But as we never see her shoot him we never really know if she did or did not kill him, its like those endings where its up to the viewer to decide what happened. So imo its up in the air type ending. ;) |

| This show is really impressive to me, it does so much with so little. Everything it shows us tells us a ton. Yes the episode was predictable but it was very well done so I don't mind. |

| I really appreciate this show so far! It was entirely predictable, but was still breathtakingly beautiful in execution. The subtlety of cinematography brought everything together almost perfectly imo. However, as a musician, I was horrified by how poorly the violin scenes were put together. Rico just beat every prodigy in history to a pulp! Also, is it really that difficult to animate bow direction changes that correspond to changes in notes? The problem is not unique to this show, though, so I guess I can't blame the production team too much. Sigh... Those violin scenes fell completely flat for me. :( |
| I think this is my favorite episode so far. It asks an incredibly uncomfortable question: is it possible that Rico better off now, considering her condition before her recruitment? She certainly seems to enjoy having a body that is capable of movement. Of course, she's paying a terrible price for it, but that's what makes the question interesting. In addition, I liked the training scene and the scene where the little assassins were interacting. Little bits of slice of life juxtaposed makes the underage assassin work seem even more messed up, while also balancing out the violence and the dark mood with something lighter. zetsu_shoren said: budget starved show right here animation level isn't high enough to even kill a slime with 1 HP left the fuck mane I don't agree. For one: "budget" doesn't work that way. Two: this show is not supposed to be rich with motion; it mostly relies on the storyboard to create the ideal shots. Which is appropriate, as this show is not about how fun violence is, so creating over-the-top action scenes would be counter productive. On the other hand, I think it could have used a bit more detailed character acting. |
| i definitely thought that the impact could have hit harder if emilio hadn't died the same episode that he was introduced in, his death happened too fast for me to feel much emotion or sympathy and it was a bit cliche. really was nice to see rico blushing though. |

| Rico out of breath after a short sprint back to the car ... I thought they were conditioning her. Emilio coming up at that time was kinda obvious, especially when her "Brother" said anyone seeing her during the mission had to die. |
