| I definitely enjoyed it, but the actual script felt poorly written and unnatural at times. There were just no real "wow" moments for me. The animation and sound were on point, though, so we'll see how it goes. |

| i like the first ep; it seems so promising! the black girl is so pretty. i love how they animated her, only thing i kind of have a problem is her hair(i can’t tell if that was supposed to be an attempt with dreads?) |

| The sci-fi setting really goes a very long way at giving this show an immediately unique style, it'd be like macross without the whole war stuff. As for the episode itself it was enjoyable and had a nice atmosphere, the 2 girls seem pretty likable thus far and generally the show had alot of energy with its switching perspectives. The only thing I don't like is how jarring the musical sections are as other people have said, its just so obvious its not the same people at all and with the change to english vocals is something that just makes that even more jarring. I'm sure its something you can just sort of get used to but still it was the only thing that took me out of the experience. That said too, i guess I'll be the guy to say it, I don't particularly like the song they sang when tuesday actually added lyrics, so I hope that doesn't spell doom for their musical sections in general. |

| I loved this I can already tell that the music in this series both from the characters themselves and the soundtrack/insert songs will make me very happy Also, did not expect their IG account to actually be real lol, that's fucking awesome xD |

| Everything about this anime is excellent. From animation, soundtrack, art, character designs to compelling plot. I can this ends up being one of my favorite anime 2019. |

| As expected, this was a nice start. Its like a plot fusion of Macross and Nana in Watanabe's typical style. Beautiful voices and design. I've been so excited for this since the preview came out. |

| Wow what a show!! The vocals and the tunes in this episode really left me jaw down. The flashbacks gave me thrillbumps. This is what I've been waiting for. |

| Oh my, it's the best thing I've seen in a while! So pure, beautiful and the story looks pretty interesting too. Not to mention the VA cast here is golden, Kamiya Hiroshi, Miyano Mamoru, Irino Miyu, Ootsuka Akio and was it Sakurai Takahiro as Spencer? Ah, jeeeez they could have sold me just with this list. But they just had to make everything else great too. Girls' voices were also really beautiful. And the song, I actually teared up when it first played, I don't even know why, but it was so emotional. So looking forward to the next episodes. |

| VERY good-looking, without looking over "refined" like most things now. I have no interest in this kind of story and for now, it seems to use pretty common ideas. But the world caught me, the charadesigns are different enough and this is my favourite first episode in recent series (until I watch Sarazanmai, maybe). With such a story, I regret that the characters got two voices. Wasn't it possible to sell the series in Japan with characters speaking english or to find jap.singer/actors with a decent english? 4/5 Good joke, those who think scifi means mandatory crazy technology everywhere, action and other things. Never read an anticipation tale? |

| Easily the best Ep 1 of the season. So well directed...of course. Great music all around. insane animation quality, especially the accuracy of the music notes being played. Holy hell, as a "musician" I was in awe at that a lot. My hype just grew more from this episode. My only issue was that it did feel very "in your face". Like they made it EXTREMELY obvious what the roles of each character would be: Drunk guy will be their manager. Angela will be their rival. Mama will fuck with Angela for w/e reason. Ect ect. It's too obvious in that regard. But they have two cours to make a fantastic anime and I have faith in Watanabe |

| I loved this. This was probably my most anticipated series for this season. Aside from Fruits Basket, OPM, AOT, Sarazanmai etc. there wasn't really much to look forward to this season. It didn't disappoint me and yes, there were lots of cheesy moments between the two characters with lots of cliche moments but that animation, voice acting, colors and overall production is great. Fuck durians because they're disgusting and taste like garbage. Can't believe they're drinking durian soda. |

| It was just average. Usual character types, scripted story, little to nothing in their chemistry building and their destined meetup was also pretty average (they just randomly met). I'm not saying the production values are low (quite contrary, it's probably the best this show has) but other than that I can't really see anything special. To me, it seems like the classic the 'the looks over the plot' type of series. Also, Mars was really unnecessary for this show, should have been set in New York current age (and their use of Instagram was just painfully obvious 4th wall breaking). |
| I immediately knew it was made by Shinichiro Watanabe. But holy shit, got goosebumps whenever they were singing, didn't expect it to be so good. Already AOTS for me. Just wished that the animation during their singing was better, considering that it's made by Bones, but I can give that a pass because of its other redeeming qualities. |
