| Most people believe that likable automatically equals a good character and unlikable automatically equals a bad character. I know that this isn't the case for some people, hell even most people but I'm curious to see to what the forum folks at MAL think. The only thing I say is, try to think objectively, if your character is a tsundere chances are their unlikable and if your character is a sweetheart chances are their likable but people should already know that. (Not including Danganronpa characters because they're more game) My favorite character is Yui Hirasawa who is likable (unless she's a demon we never know) |

| I consider Run to be quite likable, definitely moreso than not I've got a couple of characters on my top 10 I consider more unlikable than likable, but it's an 8 - 2 skew in favor of ones I consider likable, though I'm sure on more than a couple of those people would try to digress |

| Likable as in to the anime community or likable to characters in their series? If its the former, Tatsuya is generally more liked than disliked, overpowered stoic characters are usually polarizing in the community, but he's seemed to garner at least a more positive than negative reception among the anime only fans(people who read the novels definitely like him more of course since he's much more fleshed out and characterized in them). If its the latter, well people who know him personally usually like him, but strangers or people who don't know him on a personal level generally hate or fear him. |

| Hakuryuu is really likable, at least in the anime. In the manga he does some stupid things. Miyazono Kaori is also amazing. :D Some unlikable characters have my respect, but I don't think I ever favorited one. |

| Well, majority the fandom, fujoshits in particular hate Conrad simply because he's too nice and perfect and the fujoshits with double standards higher than Mt. Everest even cry about "incest". But Conrad is my favorite character and he's perfectly likable as well as good. I challenge you to point out his bad points (other than cold jokes) if you think otherwise! Fujoshits and some other female fans as well find abusive characters to be more "likable" and those are the types who are usually popular unfortunately. PS: Fujoshits == Yuuram fans |
