The OP song is stylistic and I liked the way it was done in terms of demonstrating the fun atmosphere of the show. Hotaru's VA played her role pretty well imo. I'm impressed by the energy she bought into the episode/show. Furthermore, I think her meeting with the MC is natural with the dagashi theme as well. Very amusing episode/show so far. I lol'd @ the misunderstanding between Hotaru and Kokonotsu's relationship. Can't wait to see more~  |

| The OP is excellent in all categories. My god both Hotaru and Saya are batshit insane coupled with Saya being a really temperamental tsundere even to her own brother, at least their eye design fits them. Hotaru is surprisingly hot and even cute at times and her insanity is a bit contagious. | Really good, I know I'm asking too much but it could be better if it had a bit more fluid animation, anyway it looked nice. Also it took 4 slots out of top 10 trending charts on twitter. Off to a good start! |
| The manga of this one was funny but it's even better to see Hotaru animated her weirdness is great to watch. And all those misunderstandings with Saya where nice as well. Looking forward to the next episode. |
| HELP!!! I can't choose between Hotaru and Saya!!!! Both are toooo goooood <3 All dem Hotaru eyecatches :L Her personality is so much fun and she's sexy AF!! Dat body in the bath * A * Kokonatsu's dad is hilarious XD His gay voice when Hotaru said she likes Pochi and he was acting girly was lol WTF is Tsuchimikado doing here XD Liking him a lot. And Wow it's not the MC that enters on the girl naked. What's this blasphemy :O Saya's so damn cute....until she goes jelly mode lol But I don't see her going yandere now since she's become friends with Hotaru. Her blushes for Kokonatsu were adorable. |

| Yea, waiting for subs, blah blah. At least I can talk about the visuals, which looks fairly good. The art style seems original, but then again I'm still fairly new to anime so I can't say for certain. Definitely never seen it before though. I'll probably edit this when I get some subs. EDIT: Okay, I loved this show. |

| Really liking the art style in this series and after reading the manga I can say that the comedy as pretty good too xD The characters are pretty interesting to say the least so I can't wait to see more great moments from them all....Hard to believe that this series is essentially about making sweet snacks lol |

| Liking it so far. The opening and the ending are good and catchy, and I love the character desings, they are so wacky. Very entertaining first episode, the father of the main character is really funny, and Hotaru, too xD. Also: Barion-Zara said: HELP!!! I can't choose between Hotaru and Saya!!!! | This was ok. As I expected, the format of the manga cannot be carried by full episodes, so they had to rearrange everything and change / dilute some jokes. The timing of some of the jokes was also a little lacking. Nevertheless, it does convey the spirit of the manga and I expect us to have pretty fun time with it. For the particular gag, either they could not animate it with their budget or decided to keep it for another occasion. There is no other reason to exclude it. | Taketatsu Ayana sounds surprisingly amazing as Hotaru. Was a bit "eh?" when she was announced as a part of the cast but she managed to deliver Hotaru's personality and her dagashi-gasm lol. Animation was decent at least. Great OP. Pacing of the episode feels to fast, but coming from a short manga, I kind of expected that. Overall, it's doing great so far. This episode did not disappoint so I'm looking forward to the rest of the episodes~ |

| I think I might like this show. There's a good ratio of male to female characters, they all have a good variety of personality traits which keeps the comedy fresh and prevents them from falling into one particular archetype and all in all it just has a nice charm to it. Since I know Funimation have that weird thing going on where they take ages to release the first episode of some of their shows I decided to read a bit of the translated manga so I could watch it raw. Glad I did because this is the first show I've seen this season that didn't suck. Another reason I watched it raw was because of a negative experience I had this time last year when I decided to go for the first fansub I could see.  Speaking of, is there an explanation for why Funimation take ages with the first episode of some but not all of their shows? It's weird because aside from that one first episode the rest of the show tends to be released in a timely fashion. |

This happens when you buy licence from that channel and not like CR did with Lances N'Masques where Pony Canyon USA licenced it. |

| So far generic and tropey "comedy" that does not really manage to pull off the comedy bits. Can't say much about characters, but still can't get used to completely off-putting character designs(these hands will give me nightmares, as well as everyone having same crazy-eyes). The overall bland "Seen it before" tone paired with the director who seems to have done nothing worth of note is not giving me high hopes for this. Might watch one more episode to decide but so far this ranges from okay to very meh. 5/10 |

| Lives up to the expectation. That was a fun episode. I like Saya-chan but I can't see her winning against that Wacky Hotaru. First real fun anime of the season! :) |

| I like how all the characters are a little cross-eyed. It's derpy looking but cute. The scenes where Hotaru confessed her love for Pocchi-kun, and the coffee sugar drinking scene were funny. Other than that, I often found myself asking "what the hell is this..." Something seemed off with the pacing. I'll keep watching. It might get better. 3/5 |

| good start, likeable characters, really like the character designs so who the hell is supposed to be the main character.. feels like another series where a a male mc has to be there just because, when the series would be better if it just focused on hotaru's antics completely |
