| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, shit got real this episode. I like the fast pacing of this episode actually with everyone riding out towards their goal. I thought the tension built-up was pretty good. The ending though :( Too many deaths this episode..but then again, Nobuanga's got a huge target on his back now... |

| Nobu keeps escaping from Nobu's sister's husband while getting other castles. Some are very hard. Oh, no, that guy with the kids died to protect the castle. I cannot help but to hear Ishida-san's voice in one of the characters (I did see his name in ED credit, though. I don't know why MAL doesn't have him). lol @ the news at the end, Saburo getting angry easily?! One more ep. |

| Looks like the end of this battle will end the series. The mention of the monks opposing him, Siege of Mount Hiei foreshadowing, which kicks off a lot of shit. I really like those little nods to future events, just wish I knew more on Japanese history to notice these things. |

| Sad episode.... but 10 episodes really?!?!!? I am really wondering why other animes that are not interesting at all got more episodes but animes with really good plot and potential are being shortened with less budget. **Sigh** anime world is so unfair! |

| My tears started rolling down since this scene And it got real worse on Ranmaru's scene. Mori-dono you're such a brave soldier, I'm sure your sons will be really proud of you. ;;______;; Is it really going to end on next episode? If so, then it would be really rushed since there's still lots to be told. I really wish for a sequel. :'( |

| I love Saburo's nonchalance. It's unfortunate the show never delves into Saburo's rationale and character. Sometime he seems detached, as if he believes history will just fall in place, and other times the opposite. It's been many years since he's been in the Sengoku period, and I have to wonder if he has accepted he will live and die in the period, or he thinks he will get back to the present day somehow, or he just doesn't care. He is aware of Nobunaga's eventual death, but he just made a passing comment at Honnouji and moved on. I like the dynamic he brings to the comparatively stern cast, but I can't decide if I like him as a character. |

Too heartbreaking. Also, Ishida Akira!!! Heh, he plays a pretty character ^^ |

| Asakura sending 10 thousand men to help Asai which was crushed by the 5000 from the Tokugawa! Enjoying how Saburo reacts sometimes in the battlefield. Mori given 1500 men to defend Usayama :( Him bringing 500 to face an army that is over 30 thousand. Such a valiant battle, ;_; fighting till the lat men to defend Kyoto. He did successfully protect the place until reinforcements came. Was last week a feels week? Many of them being sad or hitting us with feels. |

| Argh! I love this series so much, and it's such a shame that it isn't properly adapted! I can really tell they skipped alot to get to the emotional death (which was wonderful), and I would love to have some insight to the characters. I love the characters, and they definitely need more screentime/ development! Saburo fascinates me with his nonchalance and I would really like for the series to explore his character more. I know it's only 10 episodes, but still. :( I mean, how many years has he spent in the Sengoku Period? Really! More world-building would be so good. D: It's one of the best historical fictions I've come across, and if only they gave the series like 50-100 episodes then this would be an absolute favorite. >__< |

| Woah, such an audacious plan to take Nobunaga's head with trying to trick him using that decoy head. Sure did come awfully close. D: And ah, more losses for Nobunaga's side. Mori was a wonderful force and it was wonderful having seen that kind of loyalty despite whatever disagreements that might have occurred. |
